I can cut hair, can I be given a job?

Booked a massage on treatwell, prepaid in full. Unfortunately I wasn’t going to be able to make it anymore. Phoned and messaged both the shop and therapist but there was no contact from either. Lost money with no answer or option to reschedule

Hello Stella,

Unfortunately we did not receive any messages from you, which is the reason why you didn't receive a response earlier. The 'shop' does not have a phone number as everybody is self-employed so I don't know who you called.

Since you didn't show up for your previous appointment, the beautician was left out of pocket, and as a result, Treatwell now requires 100% payment upfront for your bookings. As I'm sure you understand, this is how self employed beauticians make an income.

To avoid this scenario in future I would recommend that if you need to cancel any appointments made through Treatwell, please ensure you follow their cancellation procedure through their app, as we do not have control over that.

I hope this information helps you prevent similar incidents in the future. We understand that you have already given us a 1-star review, which is unfortunate to hear, particularly as your booking was via Treatwell - I am sure you have left a review with them too.
