I supported this lash technician (Diana Valtere) from the very beginning, not only as a client but as a friend. Unfortunately, as her business grew, so did her arrogance. What started as a supportive relationship quickly turned into a disappointing experience. When I respectfully communicated my expectations regarding the services I was paying for, she took it personally instead of professionally. Her attitude shifted drastically, and she began telling me she was “fully booked” in what seemed like an effort to push me away without directly addressing the issue.

Eventually, she refused to take me as a client based on personal differences, which had nothing to do with the quality of service. Rather than being honest about not being able to meet my expectations, or taking accountability for her limited knowledge in certain areas, she chose to blame me for personal reasons. On top of that, she gradually increased her prices - seemingly to discourage me from booking - charging more for services that didn’t justify the cost. This level of unprofessionalism is incredibly disappointing.

To add to that, she relocated to 38 St Mary's Gate, inside York House Business Centre, Room 6. During our appointments, she often bad-mouthed her previous colleagues and the owner of All Dolled Up which now makes me question the integrity behind many of her claims and actions.

If you’re someone who is looking for a lash artist who respects your input, this may not be the right place for you. However, if you’re okay with receiving lashes how Diana wants to do it - regardless of your preference - then by all means, go ahead.

I share this not out of bitterness, but in hopes that future clients will make an informed decision with realistic expectations.

Hi thank you for the review. Diana was under her own name and dealt with her own business she just rented a room at All Dolled Up.

I am just confused as this review was written some time around May to which Diana did leave us in Feb.

I don’t feel this is a reflection against the salon as nothing was ever maid aware to the owner about your experience as even through she deals with her own business we could have spoke to her as we don’t want anything reflecting against the business.

I’m sorry about the experience you received but as said previously Diana is no longer renting a room I hope this doesn’t stop you coming for further treatments.
