A lovely welcoming salon.... however my cut this week with Laura is the worst cut I have without doubt ever had ! I said I wanted it cut short at the back and around ears but liked body on the rest, she practically shaved both sides of my head ( no chance of any body now) I was so upset I couldn't leave fast enough....,no chance of it being rectified as I have virtually no hair.
I don't want to go out anywhere as I'm so embarrassed !!

All stylists very experienced. A nice greeting by the receptionists as you walk through the door. You're offered a drink as you walk in, a nice touch but you do pay for it, but I would have one anyway. I met Katie and what a very pleasant lady.

Really useful to find a hairdressers with evening slots. However, the hair cut itself was awful. My straight cut bob is completely wonky, with awful ‘layers’. The hair dresser clearly hadn’t much experience with thick hair. Combined with my clothes getting wet during the wash and having the cut hair hair dried off my clothes, I am very disappointed.

Took my 8yr old daughter for a cut to help her manage her curls easier. Sent an email request and got a response explaining that Leah would be cutting and styling my daughters hair and that she was great with younger clients.

Great is an understatement. She was fantastic. Listened to what my daughter wanted and advised on what was going to be achievable in simple ways. Everything was explained really well and unlike other salons, never felt any pressure to have more than was needed.

I was fully prepared to be sat for an hour or so and need a bank loan to pay for the cut, so I was pleasantly surprised when 30mins later, my daughter had a fantastic, fashionable, manageable hair style which cost only £16.

What an amazing salon. Leah was fantastic. As a 45yr old dad, I would definitely be recommending Katie Weeds and Leah in particular to anyone with younger children looking for a great experience in the salon.

Today was my first time visiting the Belper salon and it was so lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful and knew what they were doing. My hair looks fab and I’m so happy with my colour.. I will definitely go back there I’m very impressed . Thankyou 😊

My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with the fantastic service at Katie Weeds- particularly as our little boy has always been extremely frightened of having his hair cut.
We decided to take a chance a few months ago, and brought him to Katie Weeds instead of the children's barbers he went to before; and each time he has become braver and braver.
We would especially like to thank Emily. Since Angus has been seeing her for his haircuts, he has come on leaps and bounds. Rather than being frightened of going in, he's now spending the day before telling me he's going to see his friend Emily to have his hair done. She has been so kind and understanding of his nervousness. She always makes sure to shield his neck to prevent itchy hairs from making him uncomfortable- which was always a big part of his dislike- She joins in his chatter about numbers and timetables, and she knows the way to his heart is through bribery with Loveheart sweets!
Thankyou Katie Weeds for being an excellent place, and thankyou Emily for making Angus' life just that little bit less scary :) x

Got a last minute appointment with Katy B, was seen pretty much straight away, felt at ease and comfortable the whole time. Great re style and great salon, the fact they have a bar is an added bonus

I went for a dry cut today at there Belper salon. My hair is dry as I'm going through the menopause. The stylist cut it short which is what I wanted. I'm really happy with the result. I thought the staff were very helpful and I enjoyed my visit.
