We would like to thank PAULINE, a member of the Boots team who helped my Mum recycle a large number of blister packs. Pauline was incredibly helpful and made my Mum feel very welcome in the store. Boots recycling program is admirable.

I needed and emergency prescription on Boxing Day. I was visiting the area and in error had stored my spare drugs in the freezer instead of the fridge. Was directed to Boots Bishop Auckland retail park by 111. The two ladies in the pharmacy couldn’t have been more helpful. An emergency supply issued and our holiday back on track. Thank you!

A huge thank you to the kind & extremely pleasant pharmacist at this branch of Boot's. I was visiting the area & had left all my medications at home. The pharmacist went through my list of meds & prepared an emergency prescription for me when she was already extremely busy with a long list of emergency requests. Seemingly they were the only pharmacy open in the area on Good Friday. She even apologised that it took a while. People like this restore my faith in humanity.
Visited this Boots this morning to look at some no 7 makeup products wasn't sure which would suit me the best I was helped by Claire she was fantastic I had my face scanned to see which makeup and colours would be the best for me and was given lots of helpful advice thanks Claire very happy with your help and the products I purchased will be back would highly recommend this Boots
So yesterday Saturday 27th January, I was sent via 111 to Boots Pharmacy to get treated. Unfortunately they did not have the relevant staff there to help with my issue. While the Pharmacist told me to go sit in Urgent Care, the Pharmacist Assistant rang around numerous Pharmacies in the area for me. None had the staff needed so she then rang Urgent Care and in turn they rang me back with an appointment. Unfortunately I did not get her name, but this staff member went above and beyond to help, when she could have just sent me away. So those five stars go to her, and her alone. Very thankful she was in that day.
Spoke to someone in the pharmacy via telephone asking if they had a drug I wanted on my px and was told yes, called then was told they didn't have it, asked if I was at the right pharmacy, the number I rang was boots at tindale but she continued to tell me there was only two of them in the pharmacy and it wasn't any of them who took my call, must have a ghost who answered the phone, I am not a liar.
My partner went in to get me my usual medication today and some cow suggested a different brand to what I usually use which is specific for what I need it for. She had to go back in and they refused to swap it or refund as she had already "walked out the store"! Ridiculous as the staff suggested an alternative in the first place! Shocking service e both ladies that dealt with this.
Great bunch of lady's polite very helpful.
It's Boots
BISHOP AUCKLAND BOOTS PHARMACY (TINDALE CRESCENT)- I wouldn't even give them one star. My perscription was sent to the pharmacy on a tuesday morning @ 8.30am, I went in there (as I was in the area), told them about it and asked how long it would take. Usually it takes a day or so MAX, due to the 14 different items I get, sometimes they have to order it in. I was told, all of them apart from two were in stock but they had enough of the two to get me by for a day, which was fine. They told me that it would be ready by that evening, if not then Wednesday morning the latest. Well......it wasn't. I tried over 20 times to get through to them, when I did they told me the same thing AGAIN, it would be ready by the evening, if not then thursday morning the lastest. Well..... Thursday came and there was no perscription and by this point I had run out of medication to which I really did need. It took another 20 calls to get through to someone. When I did, they were rude and basically told me "well, tough...I have to wait because they were doing other things", when I explained that I was told it would be ready and that I had no medication, the pharmacist just shrugged it off as if to say "oh, I don't really care" it's not done so that's that!!!!! I waited again, till friday 8am. Explained everything again that I had been waiting 3 days, this would be the 4th and I had no medication, I am becoming unwell because of it. I was told it would be ready "today" (friday), but couldn't give me a time. I am now sitting here at 8pm, still trying to get through to them on the phone, even though it's the night time pharmacist at this point, so they're not really busy (they shut a midnight), unable to speak to anyone, becoming really unwell because of my missed medication and it's like they don't care. I would try and get emergency medication but I can't get through to them. Then again, if they could give me emergency meds then why not just do my 'actual' perscription. They are lazy, ignorant, slow and RUDE. They do not care about the well being of people and their health. They should be ashamed of themselves. They are the ones that are liable if I were to become a hospital patient!!!! Absolutely disgusting!!!
