Had a shockingly awful experience with the technician who (if I remember correctly) introduced himself as "Tom" and hacked at the flesh around the nail on my right thumb as shown in the photos. I didn't realise how bad the cutting was until I got home, but having felt pain where Tom had started to cut around the nail as part of the 'manicure' I knew something was amiss so I immediately stopped the session and did not go through with the manicure with BIAB I had wanted. (The colour you can see in the photo is standard at-home red nail polish I applied later on afterwards.) To the management: you can trace my visit by the £1 courtesy payment I made by credit card Friday 8th May, which was where I asked if there was a payment to be made (given the initial steps taken where he wiped the prior standard at-home nail polish off and pushed cuticles back - which was actually also without prep/softening and was painful too!). Terrible!

After discussing this with our technician, we understand that the service had only reached the preparation stage before you decided to stop the appointment. The small areas shown in the photo were not part of the finished manicure result, as the cuticle work and surrounding skin preparation had not yet been completed.

We would also like to clarify that the manicure preparation was offered to you complimentary by our technician before the BIAB application, as proper nail and cuticle preparation helps achieve the best and longest- lasting result. However, we understand that some clients may have more sensitive skin, and we fully respect that you chose not to continue with the treatment.

The £1 charge was simply a small courtesy payment for the time and initial work already carried out during the appointment.

We always aim to provide professional service and client care, and we appreciate all feedback as it helps us continue improving our services.
