I honestly can’t say enough good things about Maria. My nails were a total mess before I started going to her, and she’s completely turned them around - they’ve never been healthier.
​She’s such a lovely person and is so patient with me when I’m staring at the all the colours trying to decide! You can tell she really invests in high-quality products because my polish actually stays put and never chips, which is a massive change from the sets I used to get at the big shops in town.
​Her attention to detail is just on another level. I’m a huge believer in supporting small local businesses, especially when they provide a service this much better than the 'conveyor belt' places. If you want someone who actually cares about you and your nails, Maria is the one! 💗

I used Maria’s services in December for a men’s manicure and pedicure. I initially tried to book through the website, but the booking would not go through. After contacting Maria directly, she arranged the booking through WhatsApp. At no point on the website was it clearly stated that there would be a no-show penalty.

I attended the appointment and received the services. At the end of the appointment, Maria verbally offered me another booking. However, she did not explain verbally that any no-show penalty would apply if I could not attend. I accepted the appointment, but unfortunately, due to personal reasons, I was unable to make it.

On 19 March, when I tried to book her services again, Maria attempted to charge me a penalty for the previous missed appointment. What made the situation even more upsetting was that she refused to accept that she had never properly explained this policy, either on the website or when the appointment was arranged verbally.

To make matters worse, Maria then sent me a WhatsApp message using highly inappropriate and unprofessional language, including offensive wording. I found her response shocking, aggressive, and completely unacceptable.

I am extremely disappointed by the way Maria handled this situation. Instead of taking responsibility for failing to explain her policy properly, she responded with hostility and disrespect. Customers should be very careful when booking with her and make sure they get every policy clearly confirmed in writing, rather than relying on what is said verbally.

I can also make it sound more like a public review, a complaint email, or a legal-style statement.
