Booked a gel mani pedi. Great colour selection and were painted well BUT they did NOT soak or scrub my feet. That is one of the MAIN reasons why I love booking a pedicure. Never had a salon not soak my fingernails or not soak and scrub my feet. Not sure I will be coming back for this reason alone.

Glossy 5 are the BEST for nails - professional and highly skilled, in a lovely calm, friendly, clean environment. John and his staff are amazing, and my nails always look incredible, thanks to them! I've been going regularly for over a year (biab, infills, nail designs), and couldn't imagine going anywhere else now.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled after a very unpleasant experience here.

I had a booked appointment for a manicure, pedicure and gel nails. The staff member doing my nails (a blonde European woman - I unfortunately didn’t catch her name) was unfriendly and rude throughout.

While she was doing my hands, another customer (another white woman) walked in asking about availability. Instead of honouring my full appointment, she told the woman to come shortly after finishing my manicure and gel nails on my hands. When she finished my hands she abruptly told me there was no time left to do my feet, even though I had booked both services in advance.

So a walk-in customer was effectively prioritised over someone who had already booked and was sitting there. I was rushed out and had to go into town to find another place to do my pedicure and gel on my feet.

It was extremely unprofessional, rude and dismissive. I contacted the manager afterwards to complain and made it clear I never want that staff member doing my nails ever again.

If customers take the time to book a full appointment, the salon should respect that booking rather than cutting services short to accommodate someone else. Specifically, she should learn to treat everyone equally with respect.

Won't be going back after being a regular customer for a year. They messed up my nails by putting acrylic infill on a biab set and there was no apology or even offer of discount. Scrappy removal aswell, loads of residue left on my nails, due to their previous mistake.
