i love my experience in Duck&Dry Mayfair! I had shenel styling my hair for a cut and blowdry and was thrilled with the results. overall a lovely salon and great staff, the atmosphere of the salon was immaculate and i would highly recommend.

Duck and dry Mayfair is the best salon in London! Always greeted with professionalism and kindness, my stylist was absolutely wonderful even though I can’t remember her name. The bouncy blowdry lasted days! Would always recommend!🤩

Visited the North Audley Street branch after being recommended by one of the male stylists in John Lewis who was lovely (I asked for a cut there and he kindly explained that they don’t offer that service in JL). When I got to the other salon I initially asked for a dry cut but was told they wouldn’t do that, so I agreed to a wash, cut and blow dry instead. I was then told by the stylist who was stood with the two girls at reception that they couldn’t cut my hair at all because of my bonded extensions. When the hairdresser asked if that made sense I was honest and said no, because bonded extensions are essentially just your own hair being cut and the extensions get discarded once I get them removed. The response I got was a receptionist jumping in with “we can’t for insurance purposes.” I accepted that and left without any fuss. What I couldn’t accept was the entire group of staff bursting into laughter the moment I walked out the door. It was cruel, it was unnecessary, and it left me feeling genuinely humiliated. I had done nothing wrong and asked for nothing unreasonable. That kind of cliquey, unkind behaviour has absolutely no place in a customer facing environment. Found another salon straight after who cut my hair with zero issue.​​​​​​​​​

Every time I give this place a second chance I regret it even more and this will be the last time. Other than the staff having the yuckiest attitude for no reason whatsoever (except the girl that did my hair last time which had sort of an American accent), the blow dry is advertised to be 49£ no where does it say starting from, they were trying to charge me 59£ claiming for my hair length when my hair is fine and mid length to my shoulders and took literally only 30 mins to wash and get done. Will never go again and don’t recommend I just had to

Terrible attitude and service overall! From the moment I entered the staff seemed extremely hostile as if they didn’t want to be there let alone doing their job. For the amount you’re paying I expect high value service and general friendliness. My haircut was also not what I intended despite me giving clear instructions. Avoid this salon and save your coin as there are better hairdressers elsewhere.

The staff stood outside the Mayfair branch and smoked whilst I entered. I was hoping their smoky fingers won’t touch my hair. Luckily someone else did my Blowdry but nevertheless my hair follicles were met with such extreme heat and little heat protect. If you want to damage your hair and have a painful Blowdry attend this cheap spot.

Harriet was lovely and made the whole experience so nice. I really loved the blowout, it looked amazing. She even pinned it for me, and it stayed looking beautiful. Definitely recommend!

I had such a lovely experience at Duck & Dry! From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming, stylish, and very relaxing.

The team were incredibly professional and attentive, making sure I felt comfortable throughout. My stylist was absolutely lovely—we had such a nice chat during the appointment, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

The hair wash was so relaxing, and the blow dry itself was done to perfection. My hair felt smooth, bouncy, and looked amazing—it honestly felt like a real treat.
