Claire is great - excellent cutting skills and listens to what you want. My hair is thick and heavy but finally it's behaving itself and is easy to keep in line. There's a quiet room downstairs if you struggle with the hustle and bustle of a busy salon.

I know this place is a reputable shop but I’m not happy with the service a family member received today in the slightest, she asked for layers and a bit off of the length, she came back with a haircut that looks closer to a bob, it had zero layers in it, all the same length, for the price she paid which was higher than most local hairdressers you would expect them to know the basics, even showed a photo for reference and looked nothing like it. Having your customers on the verge of tears isn’t ideal that’s all I’m going to say.

What can I say about Amour Hair & Beauty. This spectacular salon in the heart of Slaithwaite never fails to impress their clients - providing the greatest service with great prices and results. If you are looking for a local 5 star experience, with great service, drinks and treatments you need to come here. All the staff are polite, kind and helpful. The atmosphere within Amour is amazing

Highly recommend Isabelle for nails, had gels on both fingers and toes including some nail art and I couldn't be happier with them! Definitely the best nails ive ever had done. Also recommend the brow services, had a brow tidy and wax done and very pleased with them, barely hurt at all too!

Beautiful salon too, very relaxing and friendly atmosphere 😌

I recently had an appointment with Lyndsay at the salon. This was my first proper hair appointment following my hair growing back after losing it all through chemotherapy. Lyndsay was amazing, she took time to talk me through the treatment ( I had a colour, cut and blow dry) how to style the hair when I got home and how to care for my" new hair" I cannot praise or recommend her and the salon enough. I entered the salon a nervous wreck and left feeling like a new woman

I recently booked at Amour for a colour and cut. I recently moved to the area and had previously used the same hairdresser for 10 years so was nervous about trying somewhere new. The atmosphere in the salon was very friendly and Claire put me at ease straightaway and did an amazing job. I loved the way she coloured my hair and felt in safe hands, I would definately recommend.

I have really thick, curly hair and Claire does the most fabulous job in bringing it back to life when it gets dry and out of control. A warm, friendly atmosphere and service with a smile every time I’ve been to the salon. All the staff are a happy bunch and that says it all. Coffee with biscotti biscuit is such a lovely little treat too. Thanks all. Karen
