Google I've been coming to Manidaze for around a year now and always have the best experience. Amy takes so much care and does my nails to such a high quality. You also don't feel you're being rushed and it's a welcoming, clean and professional environment. Amy and the team also helped my fiance with getting my nails done as a surprise to get engaged....they're a pretty great bunch.

Google Nails were prepared and cleaned well.
The whole gel application was really quick.
Plenty of colour options.
The only downside is they use the same nail file for several clients. Rest of the equipment is just sprayed with antibacterial spray. I can’t tell if the equipment was sterile.

We have noted your concerns and wanted to provide some information to reassure you about our hygiene practices.
You mentioned seeing our tools being sprayed with an "antibacterial spray." These bottles contain isopropyl alcohol, which we use as our primary method for disinfecting our implements between each and every client. This is the sanitisation method recommended by the manufacturers of our tools and is a well-established and effective disinfectant used in the beauty industry. Our Navy Professional tools have a titanium coating for optimal hygiene and are also NHS recommended.
Isopropyl alcohol works by denaturing the proteins and disrupting the cell membranes of many microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi that can potentially cause infections. It acts rapidly to sanitise surfaces and prevent any potential cross-contamination.
We take keeping things clean and safe really seriously, and it’s so important to us that you feel comfortable and well-looked-after. We hope this makes you feel more confident about our processes.

Google I visited Manidaze on the 27 June and I was initially excited to try the new salon after seeing photos of their work online. I cannot fault the final result of my BIAB manicure but I felt uncomfortable as the service from the nail tech (Caitlin) wasn't welcoming or friendly during my appointment. If I didn't make an effort to make conversation we would have sat in silence for the majority which was over 2 hours (2:30pm - 4:50pm inc removal). Unfortunately, I noticed an attitude when Caitlin asked where I lived and a rude tone when I explained the location of the nail tech I usually commute to just outside of Birmingham. I also asked her to repeat herself twice as I struggled to hear her over the outside noise and I got the impression this annoyed her.
The snide attitude and lack of warmth was difficult to sit through. Amy was also there and she was much more friendly, I'm sorry I didn't book with her. I also took note that a meagre amount of cuticle oil was used upon finishing which took me by surprise. Literally one drop that was stretched for all my nails and applied with a brush. As a new customer I didn't know upon booking that I could have saved 10%. Something I saw on the flyer I asked for and no mention was made during my appointment. I left feeling deflated which is not the goal of these treatments. There was also a lot of interruptions as a business meeting was being conducted in the same space and unprofessional comments made about their business partner who was absent as to whether she would agree with the options presented. This was unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable listening to it. There are plenty of nail salons in Birmingham but a pleasant manicure service is still hard to find.

She’s a lovely person and it’s always a treat to see her every few weeks when I get my nails done. She always has the best manicures, which is where I get my inspiration from majority of the time! 🤍

Google Had my nails done by Aimy for my holiday in June. Went in with a design idea and Aimy was happy to do.
Ive had my nails now 3 weeks (BIAB Gel on natural nails) and no issues at all, still look really good, just the normal grow out. Studio is gorgeous, staff are accommodating, friendly and chatty. Would recommend 👌

All the girls at Manidaze are so talented and welcoming in the cutest of spaces.
Definitely pay them a visit if you want your nails to look 10/10 😍
