Really professional, I have been coming here a few times and always get good service. One year on from waxing I can feel the difference and it’s soft and smooth. Hair growth is coming back slower and before I had to go more often and now I can go after 2 months.

Threading was not the best, and the therapist was quite rough when moving my head from side to side (and this is not my first experience of threading). Whilst I was thankful for the salon accepting my appointment last minute, the customer service I experienced overall did not match the many great reviews here. This is the second time I have visited and was hoping that this time would be better (I had put the previous unsuccessful visit down to the therapist maybe having a bad day and that there were so many positive reviews). Sadly it was worse, so much so that I cancelled the upcoming appointment I'd previously booked.

Further details following owner feedback - I believe that my feedback was fair and did not go into too much detail on what caused me so much upset on the day, however following my review being called unfair and unjust (and not truthful), I will say it.

Following a short wait, the owner approached me. No hello, no smile. Instead I get 'what is that all over your face...is it acne? with a disgusted look. This wasn't done in a sensitive manner, nor quietly. I replied that it was rosacea (which affects my cheeks and nose) and that I have to take medication for it. It was embarrassing, upsetting and certainly not the 'professional' manner in which the owner has stated the communication was in.

I have had threading many, many times. I refrained from saying how bad it actually was in my original review, but to ensure complete honesty for you, it was far too harsh.

What the other customer has to do with my review I have no idea. I did not attempt to speak to her and the only time your spoke to her was when she moved and you told her that you 'had not finished with her'.

The last thing I wanted to do was to embarrass you in front of the other customer by saying how rude you were in your approach to me. This was also the reason why I refrained from explicitly stating it in my first review, keeping it very general. I pointed out that you had fitted me in last minute (although I had messaged you beforehand to ask if you had any available appointments, to which you said you did, so it was not exactly the same as me just turning up. You easily could have said that you had no availability that day, which would have been perfectly acceptable). I simply pointed out that my experience was not the same as the many good reviews here. Your response has simply prompted me to now write exactly what happened, and also drop the review to 1 star based on your comments about me being untruthful.

I hope that this further information can be used to improve your customer service in future.
