To the lady who left such a terrible review and happen to be the neighbour of one of our therapists who has set up in completion with us - the review has been reported to Google as this was false information. You asked for your money back and we obliged. There was no gossiping about clients as I just kept the conversation light as my sister had only died 12 months earlier and so not as chatty as I was. The business has been going over 16 years and we are extremely professional - hence the positive reviews. Again it has been reported as this is a smear campaign and witnesses can verify this. You was with your daughter and my receptionist and myself sorted your refund as you were in a hurry going away. Plus you waited over 12 months to put a terrible review ! Slandering a business isn’t very nice and we apologised for any inconvenience and you were very thankful for us sorting it. I also can assure that my receptionist does not keep anyone waiting - they are meeted and greeted as soon as they arrive and are offered selection of drinks and offered to choose their colour.

Awful experience nails done for the first time thought due to all lovely reviews salon would be ok after walking in felt uncomfortable staff were too busy talking amongst themselves twenty minutes after entering I was acknowledged to then be talked over after asking what I wanted showed a pic understanding my nails are different and would never looked exactly the same but the worst nails I’ve ever had the whole time talking amongst themselves slagging other clients off which in itself is so unprofessional the owner did my nails and honestly was too interested in the Lymm gossip
Than the clientele nails were not as I had asked no cuticles done or cuticle oil applied and shape was Horendous !after leaving and looking properly I realised what a state my nails were after being charged £60 which apparently was due to my nail art (two crystals on each ring finger )I rang the salon to complain I was asked to come back in to rectify but how uncomfortable I had felt first time I didn’t want to do this and also having a new born baby could not sit for another two hours only to feel uncomfortable !I went back into show the owner my nails and she refused to look at them I also took a pic and asked her took and again she refused to acknowledge the mess she had made !I was not going to write this review but after hearing from numerous people and clients of the salon how she had bad mouthed me and insisted that the nails were not done by herself but trying to put blame on myself and indeed an old picture this is incorrect and a clear perspective of her lack of ownership I feel it’s important to make people aware absolutely unacceptable and not a clue how to run a business really unsure where the positive reviews are coming from as not the experience I review in feel thensalon talk more about nail art than actually having a clue about the job in hand !also please be careful who you are slagging off as Lymm is a very small village and gossip soon comes back around be professional and admit when you have done wrong

As well as having consistently fabulous nails, I love visiting Cheshire Set for its warm and friendly atmosphere and good humour. Cleanliness is top notch and pricing is very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Claire, the owner of the Cheshire Set has been doing my nails every two weeks for 20 years. I think that fact says it all. Would never go anywhere else. Five star service, I could not recommend highly engough
