Booked a “mystery nails” appointment. This is meant to be like a surprise what design you get, but I guess the surprise was no nails 🥳

Amy cancelled my appointment 3 hours before stating she was ill…but then blocked me on all socials.

I made an appointment after seeing availability on Facebook stories. At the time of booking I confirmed acceptance of t&c’s but was still messaged on different platforms asking me to accept these. I can’t help but think that me querying that has caused this issue.

I had followed booking instructions about availability from your business page’s story, yet after that you messaged requesting that I message on instagram first to see about appointment suitability. If the appointment is available on your system, and advertised as being available by yourself, and a deposit is taken your side to secure that appointment, why would I as a customer question the suitability? I didn’t realise that by using this system I also had to message you on Instagram, respond to your WhatsApp, Facebook, email and text messages too… it’s a bit much.

You state on your instagram that you’re accepting new clients but perhaps you ought to remove that until you actually are? Just a thought. Also ChatGPT is an incredibly useful tool if you’re struggling to write terms and conditions that are grammatically correct and not erring on the side of rude ✌️

After I posted this review there was a sudden and suspicious influx of 5 star reviews 😮‍💨

Amy has been working on my nails for around two years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do them! My nails are BIAB and we’ve been through all manner of quirky designs. My favourite is where we just go for broke and try something random, but Amy is also really attentive to your design ideas. What I appreciate is the time she takes, that she cares enough to know the history of your nails and always offer advice when they’re not behaving quite as they should. Lastly, I love the random conversations when we feel chatty but also appreciate the calm quiet when you may just want a chill session. I’d 100% recommend her to anyone and my daughter cannot wait to be old enough to become a client.
