I’ve been coming here for a little while so it’s hugely disappointing when a business you are a loyal customer to, can’t even get the basics right, and this isn’t the first time.

Essentially there is no coordination of appointment bookings, whether you book online or turn up for an on the day booking - no-one gets turned away, it’s a conveyor belt of people as they obviously want the custom, but it’s at the detriment to their customers.

I’ve waited upwards of an hour for an appt before, simply because they don’t want to say no - they’re at full capacity - and offer a customer a different appt. And the main issue is that they don’t tell you when you arrive, how long you will have to wait. Or if they do, they say it’s 15 mins and then… it’s never actually 15 mins! It doesn’t surprise me that they don’t know how long the wait will be as it’s obvious they aren’t managing their online appts and making sure they have the staff available at the same time, and then coordinating with their walk in’s.

Advising your customers how long approx they need to wait when they arrive should be basic. And then thanking them for waiting / apologising for time taken also is basic customer service.

In the end after waiting an hour with no communication as to how much longer I’d be there (my fault, I should have just left earlier) I went elsewhere in Leatherhead where I was clearly told upon arrival how long my wait would be and it was stuck to.

I’d love to go back to Luca’s in the future but they really need to manage their appts and improve customer care. Having a new, flash nail bar will only keep your customers coming for so long.

I got pink and white polka dot acrylics and they were adorable, all of the techs were nice and professional, but not very chatty, which is good for introverts if nail salons scare you, you don’t have to have a conversation.

I visited this new nail salon today for a full set gel nails and pedicure and was genuinely impressed. Everything felt clean, hygienic, and very well-maintained. The staff were professional, attentive, and friendly.

The manicure and pedicure were both done with great care and precision, and the end result looked beautiful.

The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that I noticed they rushed the LED curing process a bit. My nails weren’t left under the lamp for quite long enough, which might cause them to chip sooner than they should. It’s a small thing, but worth mentioning, as everything else was truly spot on.

I find this nail salon extremely dull experience, there is no atmosphere the staff don't even greet you kindly when you walk in, they don't even say thank you or goodbye when you leave. they are good at nails for sure but their customer service is so poor i wont be going back there for that reason. i will give my money to a business that appreciates it.
