I've had a few manicures here. The salon is really lovely. It has a relaxing atmosphere and the staff are extremely friendly which is why I've been back a few times. Unfortunately each time my gel manicures haven't been very good. I've had 2 different nail techs. Both were excellent in terms of the nail care however the first left me with huge lumps where the polish had pooled on the edges of the nails in quite big drips on about 7 nails. They ended up looking almost deformed. She also cut 2 nails down much shorter than the rest so they looked really odd. The second did a much better job but I was still left with some visible bumps. I've since been to a dedicated nail bar and the results from that are so perfect it's made me realise just how poor the result was from these. Perhaps I just happened to have the 2 least experienced techs and others would be much better. It's a shame because the salon is very nice and I would happily go back if the manicure was better.
