From the first moment I was brought in - I am in a wheelchair - I was amazed by the kindness, efficiency and the sheer skill of all the stylists. My hair was a disaster, but after Mandy had cut,battled and blow-dried it I felt more like a human being and less like a haystack on legs! Sometimes being in a wheelchair leads to problems and tight lips - not so in Lipstick and Locks - all staff went out of their way to make the experience not only efficient but a really pampering experience.
In view of all that, I don't think I will ever even consider going elsewhere. And - as I am in a wheelchair, not driving or in charge of dangerous objects, I may even indulge in wine or a cocktail next time!

I was pleasantly surprised by this salon! As a French client, it was my first time visiting, and I felt very welcome from the start.
I had a balayage done with Imogen, and she was absolutely amazing, so friendly, attentive, and understanding. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole 3-hour appointment. I felt truly taken care of.
A huge thank you to her for such a great experience! If I come back to the UK, I will definitely return to this salon.

Rach has been cutting and colouring my hair for many years . I followed her to Lipstick and Locks in Sudbury. Rach is the ultimate perfectionist, nothing is too small for her to do.
She is the ultimate professional, but having known her for many years I enjoy catching up with her. She’s a master in her art and I can’t recommend her highly enough. Thanks lovely! 🥰

Took my daughter there today for wash and blow dry we had the lovely Ruby doing her hair, to say she really enjoyed her experience there is an understatement she loved every moment of feeling like a princess, my daughter is autistic and she is so very pleased with her new haircut having her hair curled too just made the experience even better!! Thank you Ruby for the lovely experience and making her feel so special!! I highly recommend them!!

Anais did the most incredible job with my wedding hair. Not only did I change my mind (regularly) she also fit me in for a cut and colour a few days before the wedding. She went above and beyond to make sure myself and the bridesmaids (all 4 girls) felt amazing, she was so much fun and easy going! We cannot thank you enough.

Had my hair done today by Aimee, I’m really pleased with the outcome. She listened to my wants and needs and explained what is achievable and what was not. She very kindly showed me the catalogue to choose together the toner, she’s a great professional, I did not feel rushed at all, by contrary she took her time to deliver a great service! Thank you!
