Been a customer of the room for around 6 years and would not go anywhere else. I have felt intimidated in salons in the past but it’s so relaxed and friendly here. I have awful course unruly curly hair but Hannah cuts it very sympathetically and she is fantastic at colouring. She’s such a lovely lady it’s a pleasure to get my hair done . Highly recommended

Hannah at The Room is wonderful. It’s hard to find a hairdresser that actually listens and gives you the cut you want but she does! She’s very lovely, treats you with care and respect and always leaves me feeling fantastic. I have moved over 25 miles away now but this will not stop me travelling to have my hair done! I highly recommend her to anyone!

Hannah & Steph are the loveliest people. They both worked on me and helped me with my hair when I started having an issue losing it all of a sudden. They both chatted with me, gave me advice and most importantly, they reassured me. Steph gave me my first cut and Hannah my second and I can honestly say I've found my hairdresser(s) for life 😇. I feel so fortunate that there are two lovely, knowledgeable, experienced and friendly hair stylists under one roof!

They really are top drawer, quality stylists and they are the whole deal. They made me feel so comfortable, I even brought my daughter who has a phobia of hairdressers (a bad experience will do this to you) to meet them and she said when she left 'thats it, I've found people I trust, they're my hair stylists for life'. The trouble is she was only visiting and she lives in Scotland! But I shared this to show just how kind and reassuring they are.

'The Room' is a lovely place, open plan and not cramped at all. Very nicely furnished and a great theme running through it. There's so much room, I've never been in such a large open space without ten or twenty stylists and apprentices running about 😂

I couldn't recommend this pair of lovely women enough. They really have managed to make something quality and welcoming.

Oh and the prices are very reasonable and they don't overcharge like so many hairdressers (who aren't half as good as these girls) do in the area, just because they can 👀. They also use quality products, but there's no hard sell to get you to buy them. Although if you do have a question about the best product for you, they again, are very knowledgeable...but not pushy at all.

Hannah is very professional,She takes her time.I visit the salon every 3 months to have my hair colored and cut.Really pleased with the style and colour.Always makes me feel welcome.Lovely salon.Would highly recommend.
