I had my nails done here a week ago and I'm missing 4 nails already I told them and there response was it's been nearly a week we will have to charge you for the missing ones after 4 days absulutely shocking I do not recommend this shop

My nails do last well here but unfortunately I’ve discovered that I’m being charged a different price every time I go. There’s no continuity of prices which makes me suspicious of whether they’re conning people. The men in there are very unfriendly, grunting, pushing and nudging as a way of communication and twisting my fingers round whilst shaping etc. Not a very pleasant experience and getting worse. I’d rather pay a little extra and have a pleasant experience.

I’m speaking honestly in this review and I’m not trying to offend anyone. I went there to get acrylics on my finger nails nothing more nothing less than that the price that was stared on the board was £23, a friend of mine also had a card which even stated a smaller price but ultimately I knew I’d be charged the price that was advertised in the shop.

My sister and my cousin were also getting treatments there. When I sat down before my nails were touched I plainly spoke to the gentleman that was going to be doing my nails that I wanted “only acrylic” nothing else. I have had gel in the past and had a bad experience of being burnt so I wasn’t about to do that again.

After I made it known that I wanted Acrylic for the third time he kept on saying “tips” and nothing else, there was obviously a language Barrier so he either misinterpreted something I said or didn’t speak a word of English.

He starts doing my nails in the fashion of acrylic nails and he uses the correct tools. I’m happy by the end result because my nails looked great. I go to pay the £23 I was expecting to pay and the lady at the desk says that will be £29! I am immediately shocked as I can see the price board behind her and the price says £23.

I tell the lady that I asked and had acrylics and she then tells me that he gave me shellac! As I
said before I stated so many times that I wanted ACRYLIC NAILS. I pay and I’m very unhappy at this point because I have slight feeling that they pull that stunt on a daily basis.

I only paid the £29 after speaking with my siblings that were with me. Honestly though it’s very easy to mask a con under the perception that the person couldn’t understand English, so they could easily get away with giving the customer a higher priced treatment without taking any blame.

I sadly won’t be going back because it’s a bit unethical what they did, and I really can’t stand dishonesty or sneakiness when they could of honestly made more business in the future from if they didn’t treat me like a “mark”.(noun. A person identified as an easy target)

If you do choose to go and they do rip you off. Legally you don’t have to pay for a service you’re not happy with. By law, any service or goods that you pay for have to be ‘as described. Don’t pay for something you didn’t ask for. Which I found later from my mother.

Had my nail done here and normally I keep the nail on for roughly 3 to four weeks as my nails don't grow very fast and I don't have any problem but when I have used this place within a few days the nail varnish had chipped and had even last two nails after 6 days. They don't charge the prices they have up in the shop they just seem to charge what they feel like on the day. I also stood out side the shop at 9.30 witch is the time it stated it opened on internet and in fact didn't open U till 10 and even then they were ten mins late. Bad service.
