Was very hurt today as I seen in the salon their was a woman with two kids waiting there kids are very agitated but still being good women was told wait. She was waiting. Somebody came before her. She was seated behind her to get a manicure pedicure done another staff member straight away for her. That woman did not have an appointment because I was there getting my nails done till this woman who came in with her two kids she was sat here for ages and ages and ages since I started my nails then another customer came in and the woman told her to wait again as this Customer has an appointment before you. The customer was really upset and left the shop without getting her nails done. I can imagine how hard it is for mothers to get their nails done even just come out to get a bit of pampering done with kids but this was really sad to see and upsetting the way she was treated. Wont be coming again

Really sad today as i went at 3:45 with my kids to get nails done but was waiting there for over hour then went out was told soon as u come back you can get done still waited a women came in for manicure and pedicure she was seated straight away she came after me did not have a appointment i stayed quite then another women came in said can u wait bit more because she has a booking i supported this nail shop since first day it opened recommend to family and friends but truly today i seen its all about money manicure pedicure cost more than just a set of acrylic so lets see that customer first i spent £6 on parking as my husband left work early so he could watch kids but theres no value wont be going back, if i was told we cant fit you i would have gone else were but no!

AVOID!first time here was amazing,2nd time I waited half a hour the was sat down and had nails soaked off ready for fresh set of short square French.halfway through they went and started serving and doing other peoples nails who had just walked in.45 mins later and almost late for my next appointment I raised concern and said I’ll just have acylic overlay painted on my nails as was taking too long.was another 30 min to do this and look at the state . £37! This was taken within the first hour.i had a appointment to get to and the shop was busy and ill be honest I just didn’t dareto say anything.i emailed within 20 min the shop just to let boss see them. No response .6 weeks and 4 emails later still no reply so im posting these pictures to let people see there work when there busy!I showed another nail place I went to the day after and they weren’t shocked!I have learnt a lesson and won’t return.

I’ve been to quite a few nail salons in the area and Studio 88 is honestly the best one I’ve found. My shellac nails lasted nearly four weeks without any chipping, which is amazing. The team are friendly without being overly chatty, which I personally appreciate. Brilliant value for money too!.

Absolutely lovely experience at Studio 88! My gel manicure was perfect!. The salon itself is clean and has such a relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back for my next appointment and recommend my friends to come!

Use to go regular for my nails and would always love them. Went to do my toes due to my usual lady stopping went to get Infill and told her that i usual have builder gel on my big toes due to a damaged nail she said i don’t need to do infill on the big toes of the builder gel.
We did a french tip set and it was the worst set i’ve ever seen so i came back two days later and expressed how i was unhappy and that i wanted to just change the colour to white. They charged me £20 just to change the colour, now today so 3 days after one of the nails has snapped as she said i don’t need to do infill of builder gel when i clearly did. She also expressed to me that an infill is more expensive than a fresh set which doesn’t make sense to me…

Stumbled across Studio 88 whilst doing some shopping in Frenchgate and decided to pop in on the spot, so glad I did! The team was warm and welcoming and managed to fit me in within minutes. I went for a spa pedicure and it was genuinely one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve had in a long time. Will absolutely be making this a regular visit rather than just a happy accident!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
