Awful, rude staff, some didn’t even know what they were doing. Was still forced to pay full price even though they were not the nails that were asked for and tried multiple times in the process to tell him that that’s not what was wanted, but he didn’t care and carried on as he wanted to until he realised he couldn’t do the pattern in the right colour because he had used that colour gel on the base when it was supposed to be white acrylic! The looked nothing like the photo that was under his nose the whole time. Utterly appalling.

Every time I go i feel I cant have short nails when I ask every time. Last time bloke cut nails but cut my real nail badly. I kept bleeding and was very sore for days. Now this is my go to but the service is going down hill and if keeps like this ill be changing.

Amazing experience at Ivy’s Nail! Went Friday after work and didnt have to wait at all, I said I wanted pointed acrylics and showed the inspo photo and it was done absolutely perfectly. Lovely friendly staff and very reasonably priced too!

They do terrible manicures for a big price, they don't listen to the client's wishes and do everything their own way, they don't know how to trim cuticles, they have dirty cuticle scissors, and they don't apply the requested color. Don't go there, they charge a lot of money for work that's worthless.

I visited for the first time and showed them an ambre design when asked. They agreed they could do the design and began the work. They then realised that they couldn't do it and they didn't have the colours. I worked with them and we looked for another design. The technician was short and off hand when when explaining what he could do, baring in mind the language barrier. I agreed on a design and asked for chrome over the top which he agreed. At the end of the work, he told me to wash my hands and then pay. I asked about the chrome and he said 'no chrome, no nothing'. I was made to feel as though I had been awkward. I realised when I left that I had loads of nail varnish left around my fingers and underneath. Definitely won't be returning.

After ivys soaked my fingers in neat acetone- my skin is falling off!The used acetone was then tipped back into the bottle too use on other clients. I’m now on antibiotics too help heal my skin.

Although I was quite happy with my finished nails, nothing else about my visit was pleasant. I am not a rude or condescending person and was shocked by the attitudes of most of the staff. The greeting was curt, 'Sit over there and choose colour'. I dutifully complied. I'd just started to look at the available colours and was told to take a seat at the work table. I immediately started to bridle at the attitude but somehow managed to stay quiet. I was shocked at the discourteous behaviour, no pretence of civility at all. The start of the treatment was not pleasant either, very rough and quite painful. I commented on this and received a sigh... I have a serious tremor and I understand that this made her work very difficult, but I was apologetic and said I did not expect a perfect finish, without a response from her. Half way through the treatment, she just wandered off, without explanation. A young man eventually took her place, but also left me suddenly. At last a young woman appeared and finished the job without too much fuss.
All the time the technicians talked loudly across the room to their colleagues, in their own language, but I didn't notice much verbal interaction with their clients. Eventually my torture was over and I was abandoned again. After a seemingly long wait I asked if I could pay and the first young lady came to the till. I noticed that she had no problem telling me how much I owed.
The shop was extremely busy so I guess that nobody else there was as unhappy as I was. I won't be going back.
