Wow been coming to gemz for while now so thought id make review now ive been several times just to say I appreciate there amazing work ,the girls are all so welcoming, bubbly, offered drinks soon as you arrive ,always go through how you would like things, then suggestions always in great detail if my hair wouldn't suit style then suggests alternative, from the colours ,style, blow dry and a trim is a trim 😆 use amazing WOW products also used makes my hair feel lovely as my hair has no body to it until I been here.
My daughter now goes independently and its bought out such more confidence since being to gemz as she loves a different colour to her hair (shes quirky has her own style) found due to her autism and ADHD she finds it hard to communicate, socialising and has struggled throughout her teens until going to gemz ,but now she goes there independently makes her own appointment which is massive ,sits and chats to thrm all thanks to all the staff from receptionist to the stylist. Amazing bunch always so chilled and witnessed such a happy place to be .. so thankyou to all at gemz ...
Also had eyebrows waxed too and omg there such better shape 😍

Did a walk in visit to the salon to get my brows and lashes done. The technician Tracey was doing another client at the time but was asked if she could facilitate a walk in. She said yes but I will need to wait for about 30 mins.I waiting for 50 minutes until she was finished. She then came to say that she could only do my eyebrows because the shop closes at 3pm today and she has appointment that she needs to attend. Thought that was very unprofessional and inconsiderate to have me waiting then not being able to get the service done.

Had my nails done here.
I had a stroke so my hand spasms, but the nail technician was ever so patient and said don't worry we can get this done just relax. So thanks very much

Thank you to Lauren for looking after me, she took the time to understand exactly what I wanted for my hair and I couldn’t be happier with the results!

I had a tricky colour to begin with but Lauren was an absolute star and my hair feels so healthy now too. I don’t live in the city so I have to travel in but it is so worth it ☺️ Definitely recommend x

My partner took my son to a hair cut appointment today. They ran over by 20 mins but this is not the main issue; my partner explained that he has really thick hair and asked for a grade 2 round the back and sides and cut the top (he also has a double crown and his fringe comes forward so needs to be short). My partner has showed me his hair in a photo and honestly it looks like it has not been touched and his fringe is wonky and looks like it has been done with a blunt pair of scissors. Very very unhappy and my partner is so upset she does not want to go back.
