I’ve had my first appointment with Becky today… she is outstanding!!! She did a really thorough consultation with me to get to know my hair and what I wanted. She gave me options and was really helpful with advice on products (but wasn’t pushing me to buy).
The colour surpasses what I expected and she really made sure the condition of my hair was a priority. The cut is just what I wanted (taking into consideration the shoddy chop I’d had in another salon). It so precise and there’s not a hair out of place.
The salon is so welcoming and the staff are all really warm and smiley. I was made a couple of hot drinks during my colour/cut, served by the fantastic apprentice. She also washed my hair and was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Thank you 👌

I discovered this place after stopping a lady in a shop who had the most stunning hair. I asked her where she had it done and she told me it was Ruth at GHQ, so I immediately booked in.

On arrival, I was surprised by how beautiful and luxurious the salon is, and I was greeted very warmly despite having a very early morning appointment. I’m very fussy about my hair, but Ruth worked her magic and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I’ve definitely found my salon in Plymouth!

Absolutely 10 out of 10 service and quality. Not only are all the staff wonderful and experienced. They took extra time and were extra slow to ensure no double up when redoing my high they went above and beyond to ensure they avoided breakage and overlap for me. Just genuinely one of the better salon experiences I’ve had and I travel for work so really impressive!

My wife has been going to this salon, and its previous incarnations, for over 30 years. For many years we lived in Plymouth but for the last 21 years she has travelled the 200 mile round trip from Weston-super-Mare. She loves the place, the girls, the treatment and the service.

I’ve been coming here a few years now & I always love how my hair turns out! Ruth is such a BABE! (& an outstanding hairdresser). She really takes the time to understand what you want and her warm charm makes it the most perfect and chilled salon experience. 10/10 would recommend if you’re unsure what hair dressers to try! £47 for wash, cut and my curls styled 😍 with 10% discount 💁🏽‍♀️ one very happy curly head ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
