very happy with my nails. I came after work around 5:30 worried they wouldn't have time to do my nails as a walk in but they welcomed me and took their time with me. I got exactly what I asked for and I'm so happy how my nails turned out. The lady was very gentle and it wasn't rough like past experiences in other places. the lady doing my nail design was very good. definitely going to be back

Used to speak highly of here but not impressed after today. I got there almost two hours before close. Took a long time for my nails to be shaped, which would be fine, but one of them isn't equal (man walked away outside before I could say anything) and my nail beds are scratched and cut from how rough it was. The painting was then rushed, I asked for nail art. I was told that's fine and to wash my hands. I sat back down after this and was told by another man that I'm finished. I explained I had asked for nail art and he told me to sit down but seemed to be rushing me (it was around 5.35 or 5.40, salon is supposed to close at 6.30).

The lady doing the art picked up silver glitter and I asked if I could have gold please. A gold was picked up but this was too dark, I don't know if it would have showed up on my nails so I asked if I could have more of a yellowy gold. The man who told me to sit said he thinks the one they had chosen is better. I pointed out a one I liked instead. Normally I'm a bit of a pushover and won't stand my ground if someone at a salon chooses something I don't like (this has happened at this salon in the past, with one person choosing a nail art and shade I didnt want, and saying "trust me, I'm the professional") but by this point, I saw other members of staff running around with hoovers and cleaning up. The rushing me made sense; clearly at 5.30/5.40 the important thing was getting an early finish, even though they aren't meant to close until 6.30.

I came here as a treat after a long day at work, and just left feeling rushed and deflated, and £35 down for nails that are uneven and shorter than I wanted.
