The language barrier was hard but once they saw photos of what I wanted it went smoothly..I do think prices vary but I think it's more to do with the language barrier might seems overpriced but was very happy with the end result.and to be honest I only paid a extra £3.50 then the place I normally go to so yeah I can't really complain... I paid £38.50 and the place I normally go to change me £35 so all in all I would definitely recommend coming here.

the man butchered my fingers, by the end of it, my finger looked like a red pepperami, a few wonky nails, and my boyfriend won’t stop calling me ET everytime i hold his hand, was judged for having a baby with my partner of 3 years while not being married, and the woman said “we would judge you in our country” which i am of carribean origin, and not chinese, i turned around when my boyfriend and baby came in to say hello, only my head and not my hand, to which i was shouted at for apparently “moving” apart from that the only thing that went well was my toes, all in all, one star as i walked in excited and came out looking like a pepperami and ET from the wrists down

Had gel Polish on my toes and the price list on the wall said from £25 and they charged me £30. My daughter had hers done a couple of weeks later and they charged her £25.
Had biab on my nails and they are the worst I've ever had. Im not even sure she knew what she was doing as had a totally different technique to anyone else that's ever done them. And then charged me £40 even though the price list said from £35! Absolute robbery and definitely wont be going back or recommending. No wonder it always looks so quiet whenever I go past!

First time here, will be the last. Never write bad reviews but this was terrible. Guy doing it was clearly still learning, fine but price accordingly. Nails way too short by the time he had finished filing them to death. Colour was wrong nail art was awful had to ask for it to be taken off. Burnt my finger twice. Couldn’t understand basic questions.
And still charged me full price. Wouldn’t come back have been getting my nails done over 20 years every month and never once complained or had as bad of an experience as this. Only came here as my usual salon was a 45 minute wait, next time I’ll wait! If you have any sort of standard of nail don’t go here I’ll be going to my salon tomorrow to have them soaked off and redone

This was my first visit and experience of Max’s nails in Crosshills. I did have my reservations, but only because I have never had my nails done by a male technician before. I shouldn’t have had any concerns. My nail technician was super experienced. He was very gentle and caring throughout the whole process.
Although there is a language barrier (the 2 technicians in the salon are both Vietnamese) this definitely did not spoil my experience and will not deter me from going again. There are always ways of communicating.
The salon is ultra clean and comfortable. I had involvement with both of the technicians and they both instilled confidence in me as they knew exactly what they were doing and got on with the job.
Would I go again….. definitely. I was super impressed with my manicure and painted nails. Just what I wanted.
Situated on the main road in Crosshills and newly opened within the last few months. Try it out…. You won’t be disappointed!
