I went in to the salon and asked for biab gel nails, the lady said £40 and I said perfect, thank you and then went to sit down, I asked if she could keep the length as I am trying my best to grow them. She said ok and then proceeded to file them down so much, when she was doing my cuticles she made me bleed twice and didn’t even say anything! When I put my nails in the machine they got sooo hot I actually had to take one of them out it was super painful. She then was being so rough buffing my nails and rushing it was a really horrible experience. When I went to pay she said my nails are now £43 because i chose different colours but she didn’t tell me at the time it would cost extra to choose more than one colour.
I went to get my nails done as a relaxing treat and it was far from it! I definitely won’t be going back or recommending them to anyone!

The experience I had today on 1/4/26 was unbelievable. I called prior to my visit and they said they’re not taking appointments but to come at 12. So I did that and I was not seen for another hour! Why give a time then?! Not helpful. Other people were also waiting nearly an hour. Alex did my nails because he’s usually the only one who can do a good job. His attitude was awful today. He was rude to me for accidentally knocking my nail before it dried and was sarcastic saying ‘now you can touch it’ once it was finished. I also asked him to remove paint which was on my fingers from him touching the paint bottle. He started picking at my skin with his nails instead of using polish remover! I asked him to stop because he was actually hurting me! It felt like he was angry at me and doing it aggressively on purpose. Don’t work in a customer facing environment if you cannot be polite!!! The shop is run down and needs a tidy and a clean. Health and safety standards are not in place and North Somerset council should take a look. Holland and Barratt and the charity shop also came in to complain of the toxic smell going through into their shops.

I regularly go to Glam Nails for gel nail application - always very welcoming, professional, clean and tidy. Great quality nails which last me perfectly until they grow out. Would recommend!

Absolutely disgusted with my first experience here never going here again...I wasn't happy with the shape they did so I was honest and kindly asked them to change them and the rudeness I then received and having to listen to them speak in their language while mocking me was very disrespectful! And then I left with nails that I didn't want as I just wanted to get out of there and paid a ridiculous amount!! Do not recommend!

If I could score zero I would. I decided to treat myself for my 50th Birthday yesterday and was hoping for a friendly welcome, and a lovely pampering session. As soon as I entered, the young man who was available, said "choose your colour" without looking up from his phone. I asked for almond shape, and received no response whatsoever. I understood there may be a language barrier, so stayed quiet. He kept pushing my hand away, and yanking my hand toward him in an aggressive manner. When it came to putting the gel polish on, as soon as he had added the polish, he shoved my hand under the UV light, and sat back staring at his phone each time. I was just glad to get out of there, and won't ever go there again. A truly awful experience.
