Myself and my daughter visited maxi nails today. I had the spa pedicure and my daughter got gel nails and toes. The staff were all lovely. A brilliant job was done on us both. Expecially the spa pedicure. My feet feel amazing now. Thanks so much 💜

I have been a loyal customer at Maxi Nails for a long time, and they have always provided excellent service. However, recent changes in their staff have led to a noticeable decline in quality. It seems they are training new employees on the job without informing customers or offering any discounts for the subpar service.

About a month ago, a new staff member was assigned to paint my toenails. It quickly became apparent that he was inexperienced, as I could clearly see he spent over an hour asking for guidance on what to do. As the shop was closing, another staff member took over, removed the polish, and restarted the process without consulting or apologizing to me.

Despite this experience, I decided to give Maxi Nails another chance today. Unfortunately, I was assigned the same new staff member. I requested to have my gel polish removed and fresh gel applied. During the removal process, he mistook a common white spot on my nail (Leukonychia) for remaining polish- it clearly wasn’t polish. In attempting to remove it (shaving my nail bed away), he severely damaged my nail bed, causing me to shout out in pain for him to stop. I had to settle for clear polish because my nails were too damaged to proceed.

Throughout this ordeal, I received no apology and was charged full price despite the significant harm done to my nails. My nail bed is still throbbing with pain, and a considerable portion of my nail has been removed.

I hope Maxi Nails addresses these issues promptly, as their previous high standards have clearly slipped. I am deeply disappointed with my recent experiences and the lack of accountability and customer care.
