Good morning, please could you return to the salon to discuss and let the hairstylist know why you are not happy? She spent time with you making sure all was okay so it is not really fair on Belles to write this review when you left the salon saying you were pleased with your hair, and looks like you have also done it before at other salons previously, this type of review can ruin a business and is totally unnecessary when you should have said at the time or returned or even called?

May we take this opportunity to advise our clients that we use a written complaints procedure supplied by the NHBF which is supported by their legal team, if this is not followed then a case cannot be held against Belles Hair and Beauty or any other salon who are members… it is therefore important that if you have a complaint or feel you need help after a service you do NOT go to another salon for a service or attempt to add more colour at home with box dye because this will forfeit your rights to a full refund, a copy of the complaints procedure is available on request.
If this is adhered to then Belles will
absolutely take full responsibility to make sure you have the hair or beauty service you require 🤍
Miss George had this email response to her formal complaint because she did NOT follow instructions and did NOT give the hairstylist a chance to look at her hair, this was a 2/3 step process for colour removal; NOT a normal colour service, Aimee is a very experienced hairstylist

Thank you for your text message and your email. We are sorry to hear that you remain unhappy about the services that we provided, but we reiterate the points made in our earlier message explaining why our services were not supplied in breach of contract.

Having given consideration and seeking legal confirmation in connection with the further points you raised recently, we add the following....
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we have to provide reasonable care and skill, this was the case when you messaged to confirm you would like Aimee to continue with the colour correction, may we also point out again this was a major transformation with colour removal then a further colour service, it was not just a colour service. This was not a one sitting service so we offered straight away to complete and asked you to come back to the salon immediately so our senior hairstylist could check your hair and also thin it out for you as requested. She also advised how to care for your hair properly as you also mentioned you had washed your hair and already applied rosemary oil again only 2 days after us adding Olaplex in with the hair products to help repair and condition your hair.. At this time you were also booked in the very next day for Aimee to drag the colour from the roots further to lose the banding, and told quite clearly that your hair would need to be professionally dried in the salon so you are covered for anything that should be unsatisfactory.

The appointment was kept on Friday 25 July and again was discussed that you should not leave the salon with wet hair but you were adamant due to possible damage by heat that you did not want your hair dried but would send a photo as soon as it was dry the next morning, we did not hear from you until Sunday 27 July, 2 days later with further photos saying you had let your hair dry however had straightened it but still not happy with the colour so had since box dyed it yourself. This has therefore breached the contract by not allowing us to correct or see the hair, and we have not seen it since.
Secondly you have mentioned the bad condition of the ends of your hair and you had to have it cut, this was requested in a message you sent on Wednesday 16 July, so not at any point have we compromised the condition of your hair, we also have the "before" photo to show the breakage in your hair prior to any services provided and it was cut before we applied any products to the hair.
The legal advisors have also asked us to point out to you that because you have forfeited your rights to a full or partial refund by since using box dye you cannot threaten to leave a bad review as we are protected by the Defamation Act 2013 and the Blackmail and Theft Act 1968 in order to demand a refund. We have never refused to help or to offer any further appointments, it was your decision to colour your hair yourself at home before registering a complaint and request for a refund.
