I've been going to this salon for 2 and a half years now and every single time I have been greeted warmly and had amazing experiences everytime. Even when I've been heavily pregnant or had a screaming baby with me. She's remember me and things about me every time. She never falters when I've requested some extravagant intricate designs. Her skills are honed and she has amazing patience. I've hooked my mum on this salon too. I highly recommend this salon and she should be proud of herself

"Extremely disappointed with my experience at [first class nails] not a suitable name actually for the place! arrived promptly before the owner opens in a long queue i was number 2 only to find another 2 customers coming after me and this is unacceptable and humiliating anyway!After waiting outside for over an hour, the salon finally opened. To my disbelief, the 2 customers who arrived after me was taken in before me. The staff seemed indifferent to the situation, and there was no attempt to manage the queue or apologize for the inconvenience. This is unacceptable customer service and a complete disregard for those waiting patiently. I would not recommend this salon to anyone."

Needed nails done at short notice and after being told I needed an appointment at other salons, First class nails were open and happy for me to walk in. Very impressed with the service I received as well as the thoroughness the technician displayed at her craft. Not sure why it was so quiet in there, but I’m extremely happy it was. Definitely recommend

The girls are lovely, quick and have great attention to detail. I’ve had BIAB and acrylics here, including with nail art and wouldn’t go anywhere else now. The nails are done to a very high standard and last for weeks.

I visited First Class Nails on Saturday, April 20, 2024, for the first time. I'd been desperate for a manicure for weeks, and I was in the area, so I decided to give this place a try after reading their good reviews.

I didn't book in advance, so I had a walk-in appointment. Both the employees were very friendly and welcomed me in. They asked me to take a seat and said it wouldn't be long. The wait was about 10–15 minutes, which was absolutely fine. I was the only person waiting, and there were two people in the chairs having their nails done.

After waiting a short time, I was asked over by the employee, who sat in the middle. Once I sat in the chair, my nails were dipped in warm water for a few minutes before the treatment. During the treatment, the employee made me feel comfortable, and we had a bit of a laugh at how overgrown my cuticles were. They were really bad. Then, a few other customers walked in, which resulted in three people waiting to be seen. It was at this point that I felt that my treatment was rushed and cut short. I was only in the chair for about 15 minutes. My cuticles and nails were very poorly trimmed and shaped, and no cuticle pusher was used. The employee used a small rotating mechanical device to remove the cuticles, so at first I just assumed that all the cuticles had been removed from my nails—how wrong I was! It wasn't until after I walked away and my hands were completely dry that I realised how bad this manicure was.

I have had many manicures in the past, mostly good, but some bad. And this one was the worst I've ever had.

I went back to highlight the issues and ask for a refund, but the employee refused to give me one. They offered to fix the problems, but I didn't want them to fix the issues. They should've just done a good job in the first place. I said that they could give me a refund or I'd leave them a bad review. The response I got was, "That's fine; I don't mind a bad review!" So, here it is, but judging from the attitude, they don't really care about men's manicures anyway.

If you want a good manicure, male or not, avoid this place!

Price: £15.

Quality of Work: Absolutely shocking.

Customer Service: Great at first, but extremely poor when faced with a customer complaint.

I’ve been going to Hani for my nails for the past few months after never having had them done before and I can’t praise her enough! She made me feel very comfortable on my first visit and helped me choose the best nail shape for me, and since then she’s done my nails perfectly each time! The salon itself is lovely, clean and nicely decorated. Would highly recommend!
