I had a fantastic training experience with Kirstie at Studio 30. Kirstie put together a bespoke training experience covering brow lamination, lash lift and waxing including facial waxing. Kirstie was very thorough in her approach to teaching, offering a combo of theory and practical across the training session. I felt comfortable to ask questions and received clear and well informed information at all stages of the day. Thank you to Kirstie for a fab training experience. I feel confident to move forward and offer these treatments to my own clients.

Kirstie is absolutely amazing! She is so talented, professional, and pays great attention to detail. I’ve been going to Kirstie for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. She takes her time to make sure everything is just right, and you can tell she truly cares about her work. She is constantly improving herself keeping up with the latest trends and making sure everything she does is of the highest quality. I was a model for a Kirsty in her training school today. All very thorough from start to finish. Kirsty ensured student explained service clearly and did a step by step demonstration so the learner could make notes then try for themselves, very patient and gave great instruction whilst checking I was OK too. After care was explained by learner and confirmed by kirsty. Very well organised and a great result from the treatment for me!!

Booked 60 mins for the beds hoping to use them when winter comes, I wasn’t told that they expire after 6 months, the nail technician was rude as she implied I was lying. Offered to give me half my minutes as I hadn’t used any of them. However I was made to feel very uncomfortable, and was given little guidance despite me saying this was my first time using them. I had to get dressed and go back out and ask for goggles, as I recalled Tracy mentioning this when she kindly talked me through everything when I first booked my minutes. Which is a shame as she provided very good customer service which is clearly inconsistent with other members of staff unfortunately..
*in response to reply - believe it or not, people can forget to tell things, yes I did not look at any signs (which is partly my fault), I simply spoke to her about the beds and paid for the minutes, but I would have been happy with half my minutes had you spoken to me politely and didn’t imply I lied. This is the reason I am not happy, your rude tone, which also shows in your response.

I first came to Studio 30 shortly after covid in summer 2020 for my gel nails. I can honestly say I have never been anywhere else since. The salon is clean, warm and has such a friendly atmosphere. Kirsty the salon owner is one of the most thoughtful people i've come across. She doesnt just treat you as a client, she treats you as a friend and makes you feel so welcome. Her work is to a high standard and she will always fit you in her diary even at a push when shes busy. You can see the girls here work super hard and give the clients a wonderful experience. My nails have never been so healthy! The sunbeds are also a must. Very comfortable and good value for money! Xxx

I have done multiple training courses with Kirstie at Studio 30 and she is so helpful and friendly and really puts you at ease when learning new skills. She has so much knowledge and really went above and beyond to help me understand everything and get me ready for the beauty industry. She makes the training sessions fun without too much pressure whilst giving great advice. I can’t recommend her enough she is a fantastic teacher and really helped me build my confidence
