I went to this salon last april, i had my nails done there for the first time as i wasnt local and it happened to be the nearest one, i got my nails done and they were really really harsh on my nails while doing them, she kept filing over a little cut i had on my cuticle, i got a fungal infection a few days after due to this and because of how unhygienic the equipment was, i am still trying to seek medical help for my nail as it has been damaged completely and i havent been able to get my nails done since. Absolutely furious

I had a terrible experience at Venus Nail in Leigh. I showed the nail technician a picture of what I wanted before she started, and she assured me she could do it. However, as she worked, it became clear that she couldn’t achieve the design properly. When I pointed out that I wasn’t happy with the result, she became rude and even raised her voice at me. She told me not to look while she was doing my nails and spoke to me in a very unprofessional manner, even saying, “Do you understand?” in a condescending tone.

This is completely unacceptable customer service. If a technician is unable to do a certain design, they should be honest from the start instead of becoming defensive and rude when a customer expresses dissatisfaction. I do not recommend this salon and will not be returning.

Gave this place a go for a few times, first time was a success, but after that - disappointment. Biab nails were very blocky and wavy. But the last disappointment was when I thought I will give this salon one last shot with the mindset of telling the lady to fix the nails if it’s not smooth enough. Paid so much extra money for diamonds on my nails and some specific gel polish, which wouldn’t be a problem, but half of the diamonds fell off few days later, even though nail lady put a huge amount of glue on, it didn’t hold and left me with the holes on my nails. Definitely not worth the money.

I absolutely love Venus Nails! They always do such a thorough job, and my nails look amazing and last so long every time. The attention to detail here is incredible, and I never feel rushed. The salon is run by the nicest husband-and-wife team—they're both so welcoming and make you feel right at home. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality and friendly service. Five stars all around!

Amazing!! Best nail salon I have ever been to , and I have been to quite a lot of nail salons over the years and none of them have given the quality as I receive here !! It’s not in a town centre so I guess it gets overlooked , but I will not be going anywhere else in the future husband and wife team they really care about their customers and are very professional and courteous, I would give 6 stars if I could ! And I’m very fussy and will not give good reviews if not worthy ……..
