I have put 3 stars is because their opening hours don't tend to be accurate and change quite often
I have been stood outside while it's supposed to be open (according to the shop opening times on the door as the Google opening times are incorrect) multiple times which is obviously not ideal after walking there and planning to fit it in around other things in my day
Once in the salon the staff are lovely and helpful and any service I have had from this salon have been good 😊

Had a wax to get side burns removed. The lady doing it was very informal. Tried to talk me out of having it done multiple times. Despite telling her I’ve have it done every month or so. Told me I was too young (19) to be having these things done and made me feel uncomfortable the whole time by trying to talk me out of it. She was quizzing me asking me where I have had it done before. Made it her opinions very clear that she did not agree with waxing side burns. Would never go back.

I had a really disappointing experience for my first waxing session at this salon!! The technician used strip wax for my bikini area, which is generally not recommended for such sensitive skin, as it can cause irritation. The pain was unbearable, and unfortunately, the result left a lot of hair behind. To make matters worse, I developed folliculitis that took two weeks to calm down. For an entire week, I couldn’t even touch the area or go to the bathroom without pain.

When I went to a different technician for my second session, I had a 10/10 experience with no irritation at all. It made me realize just how poorly the first salon handled the waxing. I would definitely recommend avoiding this place 🙁

I normally get my daughters waxing there with Dosana who is very lovely and does great job esp with them being sensitive skin she knows what to do but we had to go on holiday last minute and the girls wanted waxing so booked with Abi and dropped them like always do but when they came back home my daughter said Abi didnt do it she let someone who was just learning to do their training on my childrens sensitive skin. My daughter has developed bad skin infection to the way she was pulling her skin during waxing which never happens when Dosana does it. It was very disappointing that Abi thought it was ok to let someone who doesnt know what she was doing to learn on my childrens skin.

I walked in for a facial (not my first) and Shanon was amazing! I have been in survival mode due to current circumstances but Shanon made me melt and feel safe. The gentleness in her voice, her magical hands and pure care was notable and appreciated. I'll be back for more nourishing vibes. Thank you!

##Zero stars if possible ##
This is a lesson in 'stick with what you know'! Usually go to Angel nail on Hulme High St, but was passing and thought I would try 'Fake It'. Colour and shape change and infill requested. Price agreed. The removal process was painful and rough, no change in power of drill or technique,by nail tech. I asked for darker powder, as I am a black female, and the grow out is not as noticeable, when white powder is used. The nail tech wanted to charge me an extra fee for this, I've not experienced this extra fee for skin tone friendly powder before. He refused to continue and felt white powder would suffice, unless I paid an extra £5. He told me to go elsewhere, and switched off his equipment. I spoke to salon manager, who was unable to resolve or offer any explanation. To be honest I am glad I didn't have full nail treatment especially with the uncomfortable removal, probably would of got a rubbish treatment. The nail tech is rude and poor quality. And the naill chair is usually always empty when I pass this shop , which in hindsight should of been the red flag I unfortunately ignored. 1st time there never again, go again, be warned about this substandard service and experience.

Dusana did my eyebrow and eyelash tint. She was so lovely. My eyebrows and eyelashes look amazing! I have recieved so many complements on them! I'm definitely coming back! Thank you so much Dusana!
