Super friendly and efficient staff. Very careful when cutting cuticles and even more careful during application- even for my basic set! definitely recommend and will be my go to from now on!

I had a lovely experience at Hollywood star nails this evening. Staff were super friendly & welcoming. Ivy who did my beautiful nails was patient, attentive to detail & kept checking in to see if I was happy with my nails. I will be visiting again to do more creative nail designs!

On the 9 th day a my pinky nail broke. ( They did fix for free) But the next day another nail broke and the following 2 days another nail broke. I ould t recommend going g here as I will not be. Oh and they'll charge 37 for acrylics and another 12 for design. They charged me an extra £5 from nowhere making my total £54 for nails that didn't last 2 weeks so I'm off to a n

I visited Hollywood Star nails on the 26/01/2026. I requested a walk in appointment upon arrival and was seen to promptly. I went in for a pedicure. They seemed moderately busy, however the manager set up the pedicure station for me with tepid water. I noticed that the towel they selected to be used looked dirty with nail varnish stains. I immediately requested for this to be changed and was subsequently informed that it was clean but just stained. Soon after an older femslw colleague tended to me and carried out my pedicure. The pedicure was not bad in all honesty. Once the pedicure was completed my toe nails were painted but did not fully comply with what I requested initially which was french tips with a pink base. While my tow nails were being painted reminded the lady of the design I desired and she said she would apply the pink base to my toe. Unfortunately she did not do this. I then asked her a second timr about the pink base and she carried on with what she was doing. After finishing my toe nails I challenged her about it and she express that she prefers the natural base then proceeded to speak to her colleagues in their language. Following this, she advised that she would get her colleague to redo it but I declined as I did not have time to waste. I was charged £43 for a pedicure with french tips that was not fully in compliance with what I requested and teo looked below average. I will not be returning to this nail salon.

My usual nail salon was busy, so I took a chance and came here. I asked for ombré, and showed the nail technician the attached photo multiple times. When I realised they were ready to finalise the nails and apply a top coat (photo attached); they weren’t going to fix let alone address the terrible work, I told them I was unhappy. The nail technician then tried to fight their case — not understanding the issue and saying they used “the correct colours”, and another nail technician stated it was too late to fix and I’d have to return another time. Due to their service, I didn’t trust I could come back another day and have it fixed without paying further. I wasn’t happy to leave with these nails, so I reluctantly asked for a black coat on top and was given a partial refund of £10. I was charged £30 in total. The entire appointment took 1h 30. They did apologise for the work, but only as I was leaving. I do not recommend visiting this nail salon. Lesson learnt, do not cheat on your main nail tech 💅

This was my first time ever visiting a nail salon in London, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. They worked with great care and precision, making sure everything was done perfectly and checking in to ensure I was happy with the results. Their attention to detail and genuine care really stood out. I left feeling confident, relaxed, and I am in love with my nails. They look so pretty! I’ll definitely be coming back!
