I first visited this salon years ago when it first opened. Back then I lived locally and was hopeful I had found a gem of a nail shop. This was far from that reality.

I remember getting shellac and it peeling off the very next day. That was a first for me as someone who had been getting shellac since they were a teenager, and when I went back to have things rectified, the staff were dismissive. In the end I got my nails done elsewhere.

All these years later, I was in the area and decided to get my nails done for an event later that day. I thought that this salon would be significantly better seeing as they managed to remain open for almost a decade.

I could not have been more wrong. I requested Biab, and the staff member tried to push me to get acrylic because it would “last longer”. Now, as someone who stopped using acrylic over two years ago and has had no issues with biab lasting, especially for less than 3 weeks, that should have been my first warning.

Still, for £40, my nails should not have broken 2 days later. It’s not even worth getting them fixed by you, but I would reconsider offering the service if you cannot do a decent standard to begin with.

They did not look great on the day of (untidy, uneven, thin) and they look a lot worse now. Thankfully I am going to my usual salon tomorrow and will forget this nuisance ever occurred.

I have attached a photo taken of my nails that broke last week (Done on the 22nd, broke on the 24th). Sadly I have not had the time to get them re-done sooner as I have been unwell, but this breakage has happened whilst I’ve mostly been on bed rest.

I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon. The service I received was unacceptable, both in terms of quality and behaviour.

The staff treated me differently compared to other customers, which came across as biased and unprofessional. Their attitude towards me noticeably changed, and it made the whole experience uncomfortable and upsetting.

The nail work itself was poor. There was no proper preparation—my cuticles were not removed, the nails were uneven, and the overall finish looked rushed and unprofessional. It felt like there was little care or attention given to my service.

What made this worse was seeing other customers receive much better treatment, including proper nail preparation, care, and a more respectful attitude.

This experience was frustrating and disappointing. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this salon to others.

Awful customer service. I called to explain that my mother was given an awful treatment leaving her with severe pain. The lady on the phone was full of excuses and said it was my mothers fault for not being able to tolerate the pain.
I explained that my mother has had hundreds of pedicures, never once has she been in so much pain. Additionally, a lot of the dead skin was left on her foot. My mother was given a pedicure in less than 30 minutes, even though she did not have any colour. The massage lasted about a minute.
My issue is with how my mother was treated, but also how the staff responded. No apology, just a lot of excuses.
I asked to speak to the manager but was told she was not there.
I will never go back to this salon ever again.

Visited Southfields nails for the first time yesterday for a pedicure , no nail colour. (16/03/2026) and it was a terrible experience. The salon was cold inside. The male therapist's hands were also very cold. The removal of the cuticles was very painful , at one point i actually flinched and pulled my foot away. He must have known it hurt but no apology. The area is still sore this morning. He failed to remove all the dead skin off my feet and the massage was rushed. It was to say the least the worse pedicure I have ever had. I will never go back there.

don’t come here. tools aren’t clean - you could get an infection. there is a man working there who is very disrespectful and unpleasant. i asked for my first ever biab set but came to find out later that he used acrylic (powder) and they charged me for biab. JUST AWFUL!

Went in to get plain nails done prior to a funeral in order to look presentable, the nails I got looked awful and bumpy despite my nails being filed down and reshaped thrice. All my nails are slightly different shapes. I went back to explain as I didnt want to do complain infront of all the customers. Was told all they could do is put another coat on top which would not have fixed the problem. They only take cash and will not refund you. Do not waste your time to go in and get insulted.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! My First time visiting and I wish I read reviews first! I had a manicure with acrylic tips and a pedicure. My pedicure was fine. I had another lady doing my nails unfortunately I didn't get her name, I found her VERY rude she put no effort into the job at all and acted as though everything was an inconvenience to her when I asked that she shorten some and make the shape neater she got annoyed and frustrated it was very clear from her attitude and facial expression's. She was very rough with the electric file kept clipping my skin around my cuticles which was hugely painful yet kept tapping on my hands to relax them, of course it's hard to relax when you are finding it painful, I left there with red on the skin around my nails not cleaned off. When she was done she rudely asked if it was my first time getting my nails done to which I replied "no I get my nails done all the time, but you kept clipping my skin and causing discomfort" to which she just gave a sarcastic laugh! It was the worst nail appointment I have had in all my years of getting them done regularly and I feel extremely ripped off for the kind of service I received!!! Please save your money and go elsewhere and have an enjoyable experience as it should be!

Very rude staff . Keep talking in their language, not asking or listening to what the customer wants . Too expensive for services compared to other nearby places . I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Would not go there although I am a local .
