I took my niece to Eighty-8 Nail Studio in Notting Hill for a special Easter treat, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind—especially with my niece, which made the visit even more special.

The nail artists did an amazing job on her Easter-themed nails. The designs were adorable, detailed, and exactly what she had hoped for. You can really tell they take pride in their work and pay attention to every little detail.

The salon itself was clean, stylish, and had a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. It felt like a real treat from start to finish.

We both left with big smiles, and my niece hasn’t stopped showing off her nails since! I would absolutely recommend Eighty-8 Nail Studio to anyone looking for high-quality nails and a great experience. Definitely a well-deserved 5 stars!

I used to go here for years- have recommended them to a lot of my friends, even my kids. The last time I went I was super unhappy with my nails. I asked for black matte and black polished tips- which I’ve had done before on more than 1 occasion. She used a new product that didn’t matte the nail polish so it looked rubbish! They are not cheap (in fact one of the more expensive nail salons locally) the person who does my nails was off sick and I had a funeral to go to on Monday- went today and I was told I’ve come too late and I’d have to pay! Needless to say I won’t be giving them my business again! I’ve literally spent 100’s of pounds regularly on a fortnightly basis for years and that’s how they treat their loyal customers!! No thanks! I paid for something I didn’t ask for and I didn’t like!! Absolute cheek! Some business are just too greedy!! I won’t be strong armed into something that is not my fault! Also don’t get matte nails- they won’t be matte and they will tell you it is and make you pay for it even though you can clearly see it’s NOT. Their loss really- I’ll find somewhere better and definitely cheaper!!!

I popped into Eighty 8 nail studio, Notting Hill.
I wanted a colour change & my nail extentions to be a bit longer. My first impression was good and I felt that the woman dealing with me was okay, she had said she had 30 years experience (so, I was expecting a great job), after a while it was feeling like she was rushing and by the time it came to the polish, it seemed liked she couldn't be bothered. I was very tired that day and it was evening time. It was on my way back to South London, while on the tube.... I noticed that the finish was awful and amateur (from the front looked okay, however the sides were terrible, they looked chunky and hap-hazard). It was an expensive mistake to go to this studio and I won't be going anywhere near the place again.
I also found it strange that they ask for your phone number when you go in and I would advise others not to go there and certainly don't give your telephone number, if you do go there.
I wish I hadn't of been so exhusted on the day or I would have noticed these things straight away (so I do feel more than silly about this).

Had a shellac manicure, my nails were finished within 15 minutes which never happens. Turns out the layers of polish were wet in between and my nails were filed unevenly so the polish chipped the next day. What a shame considering I went to this salon when it first opened and the quality was really good. Lady who did my nails seemed very dismissive and unbothered.

I’ve been here before, and I realise now why I haven’t been back. The staff and service are lovely but the quality of work is not great. I got my nails done on Tuesday and but Friday they had already chipped. I did shellac and it has severely chipped. It’s not a cheap place and I just wouldn’t recommend them. I’ve had a week of doing nothing so I would have expected them to last longer than 5 days. This is regular nail varnish. I’m really not impressed with them.

Absolutely awful costumer service, I went to have my nails done with my mum and sister I live in the area and have been to every nail salon in Notting Hill this is the worst.
Bad shellac manicure didn’t last more than 3 days and was peeling off my mum and sister both had pedicures and there toes didn’t last a week and already chipped.
I called to complain to see if they can make things right and they said I will have to pay I to fix what is there fault I paid over £80 for mani and pedicure and didn’t last a week.

I didn’t go obviously and I sure will be telling everyone never to go here !!!!!

Honestly the worst nails I’ve ever had and I’ve been getting my nails done for 10+ years. They’re supposed to be fully pink and the did the powder and then no gel polish on top so I can still see the tip of my natural nails? I told them this at the end and instead of fixing it I was told to come back tomorrow and was still charged full price which is ridiculous considering the state of my nails and I only got them done yesterday. I do not recommend it’s also not friendly and very rushed, shape is terrible, acrylic application is awful it’s overfilling my cuticles
