Today was my second visit at Mays nails in northwood to get french tip acrylic done + toes. Nails were done by a lovely man, both members of staff made me feel comfortable as with other places they haven’t! would definitely recommend Mays nails!

My nails were not sized up correctly there was gaps either side of the acrylic so things were getting trapped underneath them and they were lifting and just popping off within days. This severely damaged my natural nails. The last one that finally came off has now left a hole in the middle of my nail I can no longer get any nails done untill this grows out I now have to ensure it’s always clean and dry which is hard with hands to avoid getting severe infections. I am not happy and would not recommend or go back. Let’s hope I don’t get sepsis!

I am beyond impressed with this salon! I got a gel ombre on my natural nails, and the technician was incredibly skilled. She worked so fast—finished everything in just 20 minutes—but it was still so clean, precise, and beautiful. These photos were taken after over 2 weeks, and you can see they still look brand new! My natural nails have grown out, but there is absolutely no chipping or lifting, and the color is still so shiny. Truly perfect work!
