I had an amazing experience for my first appointment! Lina is very careful and meticulous and doesn’t rush, also she was eager to show me many colour options and alternatives. She’s very warm and polite, and the nails look very clean and healthy. The cat eye is my favourite and she did an amazing job, I’ve never had shinnier nails☺️
I’m happy to return and try other nail styles!

It was my first time for a Hollywood wax and thought I would be embarrassed but lina was very professional and made me feel at ease and comfortable. she was explaining all the process. I didn't book my other wax with her prior but she was totally ok with it the last minute to give me another service too although i moved to another side of London but for my wax will definitely be back to lina only and always

I’m posting this as a warning to anyone in Colindale. I was right there when my wife called to book; she was very clear about her budget, and Lina explicitly agreed to a lower price over the phone.
The moment we arrived, the honesty vanished. Lina flat-out denied the phone agreement, repeatedly claiming she had quoted a higher price—the exact price my wife had already told her she couldn't pay. She acted incredibly sly, smirking while pointing at the price board in front of other people to try and embarrass my wife into paying more.
It was a blatant bait-and-switch just to get us through the door. If you want a professional experience with actual integrity, go to Unit 37 or Jenifer’s Nails. Avoid "In Style by Lina"—the deceitful attitude isn't worth it.

I am posting this as a warning to others, especially those new to Colindale. I have been getting BIAB for years and know exactly what the service entails. Because the categories on their Treatwell app were unclear, I called in advance to specify my needs and my tight budget. Lina explicitly confirmed a fixed price over the phone and told me "not to worry," luring me into the salon.
The moment I arrived, her representation of the business was appalling. She completely denied our phone conversation, smugly claiming, “I first told you these prices,” while pointing to a board I had already rejected. She actually led me to the price board in front of another customer, smirking and flashing the higher rates as if to embarrass me. When I called out the contradiction, I received only a half-hearted apology while she continued to push the higher price.
While her reviews may show positive work, her attitude is cunning and deceitful toward new customers. It appears she only wants to accept overpriced clients—which is her choice—but to deliberately fool someone on a phone call just to get them through the door is a pathetic "bait-and-switch" tactic. Having a busy diary is no excuse for a total lack of integrity.
If you want your money’s worth with amazing ambiance and professional techs, I highly recommend Unit 37 Hair & Beauty Salon or Jenifer’s Nails. Both are on Treatwell, super efficient, and offer far superior service without the attitude and lesser priced ! . Avoid "In Style by Lina"—the services aren't worth the unprofessionalism and dishonest communication.

I usually book with Lina, who is amazing, but this time I was seen by Chen as Lina wasn’t in and I had a great experience as well. She was very detail-oriented and took real care with the design I showed her, recreating it beautifully. Really happy with the outcome, thank you!

I’ve been going to Lina’s since December 2024, and every visit feels like such a treat. Lina and her wonderful team Chen, and Mei are not only incredibly skilled at what they do, but they are also some of the kindest, most genuine people you could hope to meet. From gel pedicures and gel manicures to BIAB, every single set I’ve had has lasted beautifully, with such attention to detail that I always leave feeling pampered and so happy with the results.

What makes this salon truly special is the care and heart they put into their work. It’s not just about nails — it’s about the experience. They take the time to make sure I’m comfortable, relaxed, and confident with my nails, and that little extra effort makes all the difference. I love how warm and welcoming the atmosphere is, and I always look forward to my appointments because it feels like catching up with friends who also happen to be amazing at their craft.
