I have been going to Townhouse on Clapham high street for 6 years now and it’s always the best experience and something I look forward to! My two regular girlies are Daniela L and Alice. They are both exceptional at what they do and are so kind and patient. Whether it’s a basic block colour or a more bespoke nail design, they are always more than happy to achieve the vision and they never disappoint. Can’t wait for them both to do some fun mani designs on me this summer! 💅🏻☀️

Gel polish fell after a week and sadly the following month I had the same issue. Back to my local manicure place where they do proper manicure. Funny thing they blamed it on me going to swim and the sauna, been using gel for 13 years and never had that issue

I would highly recommend Ayusha. She is so lovey, takes great care with her work and is thorough to make sure you leave with a good quality manicure. Every time she has done my nails they have lasted close to the 3 week mark with minimal chipping. If you going to Clapham, book Ayusha!

The person doing my pedicure was completely lovely and did a good job.

However:
1. It is nearly impossible to contact them before the appointment. They did not answer my email or messages for 5 days. However, when contacted with a complaint, they answered almost immediately.
2. I booked a mani-pedi and left with just a pedi. I wanted BIAB, I tried to book it online and couldn’t, then I wasn’t able to get in contact with the salon. The website said you can request BIAB on the spot. They do not do BIAB if you book both treatments apparently, which is not anywhere on the website. You’d have to book two separate appointmets one after another to be able to do it. I still don’t understand the required logistics but it’s unnecessarily complicated and not explained while booking online.
3. I have completed a part fo the appointment only because the manager informed I would be charged for it even if I didn’t. After the complaint customer service informed me they can offer me no compensation, because I have chosen to complete the appointment.
4. The manager took no responsibility for the situation and me being unable to contact the company to inquire about it beforehand, as the salon itself does not deal with customer service.

To sum up - nobody takes responsibility for anything at this company.

Such a poor experience. Had a pedicure and my feet still have dry skin, the varnish chipped in less than 24 hours, and my nail artist left for her lunch before I was even finished or dry, and now the polish is all wrinkled and I couldn't speak to anyone about it. Oh and had to find my own coat afterwards, literally searching around for the coat cupboard as there was nobody to finish the experience.
So so poor, customer services really unhelpful. Asking my card company for a charge back. Avoid this place at all costs

Really disappointed with my experience. Expected good results given it's a "high end" salon, but the nails were chipping and one came off within a week! When I went in to fix it I was told to come back at another date, which I understand if busy, but surely doesn't take much time to fix one nail, which should be a priority given I've already paid for the service.
