I had a disappointing experience. I explained clearly what I wanted, especially for my big toes, as I’ve had acrylic done on them before and know how they should look. The result was thick and messy. When I asked if it could be redone, I was told there wasn’t enough time because other clients were waiting. I found this response rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Responding to business :

To be clear, yes, the booking system confused me — however, the man I spoke to said this would be okay.
I asked for the toes to be redone, not the full pedicure, as the pedicure itself was not the issue. You also did not offer a later or alternative appointment time; you simply told me you didn’t have time.
Since then, I’ve gone elsewhere and they were able to fix them perfectly. I’d suggest focusing more on the quality of the work rather than rushing through jobs customers are expected to pay for.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you were unhappy with your experience, but I’d like to clarify what happened during your appointment.

The booking was originally made for a hand service, however on arrival it was changed to a pedicure with two acrylic toes, which requires additional time. Despite this, I accommodated the request and carried out the service.

After completing the acrylic application, you mentioned they felt too thick. I filed them down and explained that making them significantly thinner could might break. You agreed, and I proceeded with the polish.

Once the polish was applied, you then requested a full redo. At that point, due to other clients waiting, I explained there wasn’t enough time to redo the acrylics immediately. I offered to fix them at a later time or not charge for the acrylic toes. Despite this, you still wanted to remove the acrylics which i did even though it took additional time, and I also provided a £5 discount as a gesture of goodwill. (Shellac pedi with removal is £45)

I always aim to provide the best possible service while being fair to all clients’ time. I’m sorry that you left feeling dissatisfied, but I believe I did my best to accommodate your requests on the day.

First time at Deluxe Nail Spa and I’m impressed! Great service, super fast, and my nails look perfect. He did a wonderful job; this is officially my new go-to.
