Very hit or miss with who you get. Don’t bother booking an appointment during your lunch hour from work as you always have to wait anyway. Walk in customers pretend they have appointments. The staff don’t even look at the diary so literally no point in booking

I had a really disappointing experience and won’t be spending my money here again.
I’ve been coming here for about a year for my own nails, but tonight I brought my young daughters as part of their Christmas treat. From the start, I was made to feel like an inconvenience just for asking for Christmas designs on their nails. I hate awkward situations and I’m not someone who usually speaks up, but this genuinely wasn’t okay. My eldest daughter’s nails weren’t even filed. We also clearly asked for baby pink, yet they repeatedly applied very sheer, see-through colours instead. When we questioned this, it was obvious they were getting annoyed. They even tried to persuade my youngest to choose red instead of pink, despite her also wanting pink. I understand children’s nails are tiny and that detailed designs can be difficult, so I was willing to let the quality slide slightly. However, charging £55 for two children’s sets, for results like these is completely unreasonable. When I asked for a breakdown of the price, it was reduced to £50, but I still didn’t receive a clear explanation. Other customers commented that the price was far too high, with one mentioning their daughter gets gel nails done locally for £10. Throughout the visit, I felt like we were being talked about, which made the experience even more uncomfortable.
Even on previous visits for myself, I’ve often been made to feel like an inconvenience. That’s not how paying customers should be treated. I won’t be returning and would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Always had a good service in Venus Nails starting with the welcoming staff who offer you drinks as you walked into the salon, they transformed my nearly bad nails to good ones again. Thank you so much and I will recommend you to everyone. You all do a great Job guys .

Rude, aggressive and very unprofessional staff. Avoid at all costs - plenty of better options on market street that actually value customers and don’t make them feel uncomfortable
