I wouldn’t recommend this place and unfortunately will have to find elsewhere. The guy was extremely rough and cut my thumb, he went far too close. He could see I was upset and didn’t even care.. I literally told him that hurt and he blanked me. He was scrolling on his phone and taking calls. I told him for one of my nails it needed a full nail as it would snap. He reassured me it would be fine and I even told him I’m going on holiday I won’t be able to fix it. But they don’t listen and do what they want to do. I went on holiday and of course it broke! They couldn’t care less. There was also another time where they got really angry at me because apparently I was moving whilst having my toes done, when I really didn’t move. But there’s no need for the way they react and are so cold. It’s not cheap either.

When you’re getting infills as well, they never bother to cut away your natural nail underneath. The amount of times I’ve had to ask & they’re always so rude about it.

My go to place in Ormskirk- tried a few different ones and happy nails are by far the best. Lovely attentive staff, their nail art skills are great and the nails always last. Had plain shellac recently and they’ve lasted really well, around 3 weeks with only minor chips. Won’t go anywhere else :)

Always get beautiful nails here. Sometimes my nail bed does get a little hot when they are filing down for the infills but they always advise on beautiful designs and never had a problem with nails breaking or coming off.

Went to this salon around September last year, got a full set done. The male that done the service was heavy handed and cut me with the file on my thumb and just pressed it and then carried on working. He drilled my nail a lot and it was hot and didn’t apologise when this happened either. A few weeks later I tried to remove the acrylic extensions I got in alcohol but they didn’t budge, they went sticky and gummy (clearly not using the right products!). After awhile or sitting and waiting I had to clip away and pull the nails off. Both sides of my nail had come up and my nail bed resembled a triangle. Weeks later the whole nail came away and still to this day a year later I have had issues growing this nail back. I would never visit this salon ever again, I paid £55 for them to ruin my thumb nail and cut me and be quite rude during the service. Avoid!

5/2/25- went and got my nails done i have never felt so uncomfortable- the young man i had continued to forcefully grab my arms and hit me with the nail file- he turned round and said “im in control” after i moved my hand because he had cut me- he also tried to take my phone of me after showing him a photo of what i would like as holding my phone would “ruin his work”- usually have a good experience here never before been treat like this

Don’t do what you ask for even though I showed photos. Just wanted basic colour not even anything specific but the shape is all wrong and the nails are so thick and clumpy. I tried to tell them but they just ignored me and rushed them to finish. Won’t be going back
