In a word - AVOID. Unlike other customers posting positive reviews about staff and service, I found the customer service to be extremely poor, with little advice on colours, confusion about the 'type' of gel manicure I was having and a change in price mid-manicure. Sadly one member of staff was downright rude, and what should have been a pleasant, relaxing experience, became an exercise in exiting the premises as soon as possible. The manicure was OK, but nothing to write home about.

Very disappointed with the service asked for chrome it was a dark pink and they used black as abase within 2 days it had all chipped so I went back and asked them to re do and maybe change colour but they assured me that it wouldn’t happen again well 3 days later it had all chipped off I went back and asked them to remove it and just put gel on which he then charged me £25
To repair what they had not done in the first place !! I wouldn’t recommend this shop I have always used another nail bar in the town and never had issues with this before the only reason I changed was because of price difference but actually it doesn’t pay on the end because my nails always last 3/4 weeks at my other salon so be warned you get what you pay for !!!

I have been going to skye nails for about a year now. They are all so friendly & lovely. I remember I got my birthday nails done and I wanted a change on how something looked and the owner changed it for me free of charge. She refused to let me tip her or pay anything. They are always so welcoming whenever I go in there. It’s always quick, and the nails are always gorgeous. I am also quite clumsy, and I tend to fall/trip and break my nails, and the staff always care for my broken nail and give me the best advice for it to heal properly!! They also refuse to work on broken nails, which shows they actually care. Such a lovely group of people!

I recently moved to Broadstairs and was super nervous to try a new nail salon, Anna did my nails and was so lovely. She made me feel so comfortable and the nails are beautiful! The process was super quick and they do walk in appointments which is amazing and loyalty cards! I am so excited to come back again thank you xx

Second time at this salon.. first time they were left uneven , but the lady wouldnt fix them . Went back as thought a different technician might be better, this time the gel colour is so thin u can see through the paint and faded, not great quality at all .

Not the best professionals, the gel bubbles after a while, rushing to do the nails, not even dry the gel properly in the lamp, And they don’t understand English, rolling their eyes if they don’t understand what you want. And I find it disrespectful to talk into their own language with the customers there. I couldn’t have my model of nails I wanted as they didn’t understand what I want. So bear in mind take a paper and pen and draw it if you want something they don’t understand in English.
