Worst place for SNS - had nails done 2 weeks ago, already chipping and look rubbish
Tried to persuade me to have biab instead - I've had this before and now have SNS due to the durability.
I understand why now as the person doing my nails was probably not confident or competent with SNS
2 layers applied, usually 3 and these were stepped so there is an uneven ridge visible. I would have popped back to have rectified, but we don't live in the area
Salon is comfortable and welcoming but I wouldn't go here to have my nails done again- expensive to rectify 2 weeks later when these usually last a month and grow out before any chipping !

Not happy my nails did not last they broke off in front of me I’m sooo glad I had witnesses as they would not off believe it if they hadn’t seen it for there self’s, I after the first one it was like dominoes , I even woke up to find one had come off in the bed , it was like they was stick ons, im so disappointed, I had to hide my hands it photos , never will I go back , not good I can’t believe they didn’t even want to make it right ,

I have just called the shop up to try and resolve a situation. I currently got my nails done on the 15th Saturday as I was going away on the 17th it’s such a shame as I’ve never normally had any problems here before, but on the 17th about 8 pm at night when I landed in Tenerife my nails all started pinging off out of something like out of a horror film I’ve only just got back so I’ve just called the shop up and they have told me it’s been two weeks even though it hasn’t because two weeks would be on the 29th of this Saturday she said the best we can do is 50% off of a new set. I think it’s an absolute insult considering the level the nails only lasted 48 I have pictures and videos which I will be posting linked to this just thought I should warn everyone and give everyone the heads up as I don’t think it’s acceptable, I think it’s highly disgusting The picture I showed was when we was in the restaurant and the nail started rising up Considering it’s only been on 48 hours, it’s a bit concerning as I thought no extension acrylic gel polish was meant to be considered very strong

I originally went to my regular nail salon just for them to tell me that due to winter season they no longer have "regular polish" and only doing gel because that's what most people get. WHAT?!?😖. Had I known this before starting my foot pedicure I would have left but Monica who does my feet does such a good job that it didn't matter too much. I paid nearly full price for a pedicure with no polish because the only color they had available was not the color I had chosen.

I decided to go to a nearest salon (there are so many to choose from on Bank St in the Ashford town center). I decided to go to Nail Lounge. I should have known by the lack of a warm greeting to walk away and leave. After a moment of standing there, someone finally said "yes". I said I wanted a manicure and polish on my toes. They looked around and told me to sit at a table. I sat there for nearly an hour just watching The Voice on their TV. No one acknowledged me. I just sat. Finally, this young man grabbed my feet to do the polish...he didn't even put a base coat. Then it was another 30 minutes for my manicure. The same gentleman was working between me and another woman next to me. He put my hands to soak for 2.2 seconds and barely cut my cuticles. He didn't ask what shape I wanted my nails...when they visibly looked square shaped. He decided to file my nails the way he wanted...some akward "squoval shape". I told him I wanted square and he said "your nails are too short". WTH. Even what appear to be the owner next to him nudged him to proceed to file my nail square shaped.

Same as my toes...he didn't put no base coat on my nails...straight to the polish. It was done in a hurried manner (see pics). I took pics the day of and the next day. You can visibly see that he didn't polish my nails all the way to the nail bed and you can see where the clear polish is. My nails look like they have been done 1 week ago as opposed to a few hours ago. He didn't even bother cleanjng the side of my fingers that had polish on it (see pics). My hands were placed under the dryer for what seemd to be 1 hour. I had to ask them whether they would put oil on the cuticle bed and clear top coat. Some lady came to put the oil on my feet and hands and walked away.

I've never experienced such poor service at a nail salon. I watched the other man/nail tech next to me how gentle and how he took care of the woman's hands after her manicure. He massaged her hands with a cream. That was not done for me. I guess you have to get "gel nails" to get a full manicure service at Nail Lounge.

This was the 1st and definitely the last time I'll be going there. The 2 stars is for the entertainment on the TV (since I like music, it was nice to watch).

Lovely team and very welcoming. The pedicure was amazing! Constantly offered drinks. I had my natural nails done and they were perfect. Will definitely be my nail salon of choice- Thank you
