Likely one of the worst experiences I've had! This was my first time going to Unique Nails. I'm not sure why, but they seemed to have overbooked and had me waiting for almost 45 minutes. During which time, I was asked at least 4 times to "pick a colour" and was told they'd be "right with me". At last, an older lady sat me down. I asked for a removal of my acrylics and gel polished to my natural nails. She didn't seem to understand my ask and carelessly cut down my nails. She removed the nail varnish and left my nails to soak before attending to another customer. A younger gentleman came over about 10 minutes later to takeover. He absolutely did not understand me and was not at all experienced. I showed him my inspo and he decided to apply a new layer of acrylic. I let him do it, thinking it was probably because my nails weren't strong enough. But there was no attempt made to shape my nails to my desired look. The acrylic layer was super thick and ugly. Even painting my nails was a nightmare. It was so messy, with me having to ask him to clean up the side of my palm and fingers every so often because it was everywhere. A truly disappointing experience just before the Christmas holidays. On top of all of that, they charged £43 for this!! Far more expensive than I've paid in and around London. I think it was the British in me that was too shy and awkward about speaking up. I paid and left feeling like I'd made a terrible decision in choosing them. All other customers were treated far differently, I guess they were regulars - still, no excuses. Overall, 1 star, only because I can't give a 0. In fairness, the decor and shop is very pretty, so they deserve a star for that. I would not recommend it and would never go back.

I previously visited the nail bar opposite but so glad I dropped in on this one! I didn’t feel they gave 100% to me as a customer opposite as my shellac nails were chipping off within days however the lovely lady here (I don’t remember your name I’m so sorry!) ensured she did my nails properly,( explained I go swimming most days and felt the chlorine was stripping my nails) and covered my nails in a least three coats plus the top clear coat and advised me to not to worry to call back if any chip and that she would sort them out! They also offered refreshments free of charge! Lovely touch and I would not go back to the nail bar opposite again!

Absolutely shocking!!! You have a booked time. Who cares?? You're booking is irrelevant!!! Pop you in a seat that means you might have attention... no Just sit and wait walk ins are very welcome!!!! Then they do your nails, no base coat... why? Pedicure no cleaned sanitized tools!!!! My husband now has toe fungus! Thank you for that! My nails have failed very quickly and with a lot of pain. In 30 years I have never had this issue. I will never come to you again. Worst service ever!! So sad to see so many people coming in to ask for issues to be fixed. Worst nail bar ever!! Won't be back!!!

The technicians are so lovely and friendly.
