I’m really disappointed with the quality of service I received and overall had a very poor experience.

I initially visited for a gel manicure, however the polish was applied so far from the nail bed that within a week it already looked grown out. As a result, I had to have them redone just two weeks later. When they were redone, the application was untidy and several nails chipped within a week, despite being sold a nail strengthener add-on. I’ve had gel nails for years and have never experienced chipping like this at any other salon they would usually last 3–4 weeks without issue. I was told the strengthener would cost £3–£4, but was charged £7, and it clearly did not deliver any benefit given how quickly the nails chipped.

I also had a spray tan which was applied very unevenly, leaving noticeable patches of white and hands that were different colours. I returned to the salon the following day to raise this, but was told a refund would not be provided and was instead offered a redo. Unfortunately, this was not a practical solution as I needed to leave within the hour to go away.

All of this occurred with different members of staff over a period of less than three weeks, which reflects a consistent lack of quality and standards across the salon.

Overall, I expected a much higher standard of service and results. I would not recommend

Thanks for taking the time to leave us some feedback. I’m sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with the treatments carried out in our salon.
I just want to clarify a few points and add a little context. Your appointments with us recently have been carried out by a junior therapist and a newly qualified therapist, we do offer different tiers of therapists with different pricing to suit a range of budgets. While all of our team are trained some are in the earlier stage of their career and still developing skills and speed. That said we completely understand how important longevity and finish are and we are sorry this did not meet your expectations.
In terms of retention we perform hundreds of gel application across our 14 therapists weekly and while some clients get 2 weeks others can last for 4/5 weeks, it varies person to person, lifestyle and aftercare.

Regarding the pricing I’m sorry there was a misunderstand. I didn’t realise when you came in there had been a problem with the actual nails as only the pricing was queried. So there was also a misunderstanding there.
In terms of the tan I could see there was a patch on the hand when you came in and we did offer to rectify this for you immediately this would have only taken a couple of minutes but completely understand you were short on time. Our approach is always to rectify where possible.

We are really proud to be a long standing family run salon and it’s always disappointing to hear when someone is unhappy. Your feedback will be taken on board.
