I was recommended Black Creative Studio from my previous barber as he was moving to England and he must have known me better than myself because Carol is great, the vibes are chill, and space is in a really varied and artsy building. I've been going since February and each time I leave with a really good cut (usually 2 on the sides with textured top). A bit more expensive than my previous barber but worth the money to be honest. Top quality, inclusive space, great person to have a blether with. Recommend.

I’ve been going to Carol for at least a year at this point and I’m always happy with my haircuts, especially appreciate her maintenance to my mullet . I’ve shown her photos or given a vague description of what I want and she nails it every time. Carol is also very chilled out with good tunes and banter, and has an option for minimal chat when you book in which is always great to know. Highly recommend!

Black Creative Studio is my new go-to barbers. Chris always does a great job with my hair and it’s always a relaxed chilled environment. Him and Carol are friendly and welcoming. It’s a safe space for queer & trans folks and I always come out with a trim I feel good about. Not everyone’s great at cutting curly hair but Chris is! Will keep coming back 👊🏻 cheers guys.
