Absolutely rubbish did no nail prep at all and looks nothing like the reference photo at all and the acrylic was very bumpy and didn't look good and didn't give me what I want at all I do not suggest going.

This is the worst set of nails I have recieved so far from a nail shop on wickford High Street. I can't find a shop that actually does quality nails in the area, but this one is the absolute worst. I paid for a full set nails and shalac painted toes and both were done terribly.

During having my nails done, I had to continously tell the man how to do his own job. I noticed that many basic steps were missed, such as, filing down the base of my nails, measuring the length to ensure all nails measured the same, not painting nails neatly etc. Nails on my right hand are significantly longer than my left, my middle finger on my left is shorter than all the nails put together, and the nails are lumpy. I got so tired of having to speak up that I just gave up.

My toes were not painted properly, they already look grown out, given that they painted from the tip of my nails as opposed to the very end.

After just 3 days, the nails already started to lift up. I am someone who always gets my nails done, and they usually last 2 - 3 weeks, so for it to start lifting after 3 days shows the low quality of their work.

It has now been 6 days, and they are almost hanging off. I am so disappointed and this was a complete waste of money.

This shop is very busy, so I assumed busy meant good, but no, the prices are cheap, which i assume is what is attracting people, but cheap prices equal to cheap low quality of work. If you are simply just painting nails maybe it works for you, but long acrylic nails is a no no here.....never will step foot in there again!

I had an awful experience at a nail salon close by and turned up to Elegant nails to complete what I was trying to achieve. I showed my nail technician the picture of tortoise shell nails with a deep autumnal brown and not only did she execute it beautifully.. but her attention to detail and checking in with me, confirming I was happy, wiping it off if she wasn’t happy with it and going at it again. Not to mention this meant she stayed behind to complete it (till 7.30pm) and I really couldn’t be happier with the finished result and her care towards me. Really great place that have the creative skill and patience to carry out nail design's for you. I didn’t catch my ladies name but the way the rest of the staff would come over and watch and get involved (including her lovely husband and children 😍) I’d be happy with anyone there. They also take bank transfer which is so much easier! You’ve got yourself another long- term client ❤️ thank you, Luisa x

I've been coming here for years, I had a pedicure done recently which I was shocked with the quality and French tip shaping given, it looks like a childs work. - this will be my last ever appointment there and will go elsewhere from now on.

I have been to elegant nails over the years but today was my last time. I had a manicure and pedicure and my toe nails are awful. The fact that they were happy to let me walk out the shop with toe nails looking so bad is so unprofessional.
