I recently visited Skinn and had the pleasure of getting my nails done at Fizs Nail Bar 💅✨

Honestly, my nails are something else 😍 The whole experience was so welcoming and comfortable, and the attention to detail was amazing.

Also, the phone holder during the appointment was elite 😂 such a good touch!

Will definitely be recommending to everyone 🤍

Had such a lovely experience getting my nails done today,The whole vibe was calm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The nail tech was super friendly really listened to what I wanted and absolutely nailed the design (literally 😍).

Everything was clean and professional and she took her time to make sure every detail was perfect. My nails look amazing and feel so well done I’ve already had so many compliments x

"Dishonest experience — misrepresented products and overcharged"

I really wanted to support a local, women-owned business, but I left feeling very disappointed and will not be revisiting. This was meant to be a birthday treat to myself, so the experience was especially upsetting.

I booked specifically for an Elim MediHeel pedicure. Having had the Callus Peel brand treatment before, I am very familiar with the correct procedure and products. I even confirmed twice that I was receiving the Elim system and was told "yes" both times. However, I watched closely as the technician used a moisturising cream and pretended it was the peel instead of the actual peel tonic and neutraliser. It was clear she thought I wouldn’t notice the substitution. I wouldn’t have even minded a standard pedicure - what was actually done on my feet, although it wasn't the best. But when it came to paying, I was still charged the premium price for an Elim pedicure treatment.

I chose not to confront the nail tech because I wasn’t going to allow her to ruin my day or try to embarrass her infront of another customer, though I had every right too and I was also waiting to see if she would be honest and own up at the end—which she didn’t. It is such a shame to see a new, local business be so dishonest and unprofessional.

Still never got an apology/reason for the let down on my birthday 10 days ago or a reply to my review and the 3 missed calls on the day. I just wanna know why I was able to book the appointment if you was then not going to be open even though it said online you were supposed to be. very glad I chose to pay in person and not online as I wouldn't trust that id get a refund and considering the nails are quite overpriced that would've been even more devastating on my birthday. never been to skinn before and I doubt I'll ever go now since that was technically my first time attempting to go there.

I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience at SKINN. I went in for a Hollywood wax, which should normally take around 45 minutes, but the entire appointment was rushed through in just 10 minutes. The treatment room itself felt cramped, and I was uncomfortable from the start.
The therapist did not leave the room while I undressed, and there were no towels provided for coverage. The bed had a dirty-looking plastic cover with just a paper towel on top, which did not feel hygienic at all.
During the waxing, I was burned by the wax, and I had to apply burn cream at home because of how painful and irritated my skin was afterward. She used baby poweder for after the wax... that is a no go she should have used a soothing, antiseptic, and alcohol-free post-wax product to calm the skin To make matters worse, I witnessed her double-dipping the wax stick, which is a serious hygiene concern.
Overall, this was one of the worst waxing experiences I’ve ever had. I would not return and cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for safe or professional service.
