This use to be the best nail shop in Rayleigh, but I won't be returning after my last visit.
My nails were rushed and lasted just over a week.
I wasn't asked the base color I wanted for the French tip base and it was done too light so looked dirty / discolored, allot of my nails look wonky and the paint has been peeling off.

Have been to this salon twice, as I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. On the first visit, they didn't have the colour I asked for, despite it being on a swatch. I chose a colour close to it. I said "ouch" as the dryer felt like it was burning me, only to be told it's ok, it'll be alright in a minute. 1 and a half weeks after I'd had gel varnish applied by Ciao Bella, 2 of my nails had chipped and the varnish at the side of my thumb had lifted up. I phoned them up and was told to come back and they'd fit me in to repair the chipping and lifting. I wasn't treated very nicely on my return. There was no apology and the guy tried to blame the fact that the colour I'd chosen wasn't close to my skin tone. He took a phone call & left me sitting with my nails in the dryer. After a while, the lady there told me I was done & I could leave. When I went back the 2nd time (3 weeks after I'd initially had my nails done, as I booked this appointment when I left the first time), I saw the lady. She didn't push my cuticles back. She applied the colour I'd chosen, which didnt show up well as she hadn't applied a coloured base coat underneath. There was no conversation, only to other people, not to me. When I got home, I noticed 2 blobs of varnish on a few areas of my skin, I had to refile a few of my nails as they weren't done properly and were catching and my 2 thumb nails looked like one had had 2 coats on it and one had had 3, plus one was blobby. I went to a nail specialist yesterday, who removed the gel put on by Ciao Bella, to get them repainted by her, but she couldn't and wouldn't repaint my nails, as she could see black markings on them, caused by trauma and also lifting of a few of my nails, so she removed the gel, cut them very short and filed them. Some of my nails have now broken and are like paper. They were strong, long and healthy, prior to me visiting Ciao Bella. On telling her about my experiences at Ciao Bella, she said it sounds like the dryer is turned up too high and they are not curing the varnish properly, nor for long enough. She said my cuticles should have been pushed back on each visit, which they weren't. My nails are now horrendous and embarrassing. They look diseased. I've been instructed to leave them dry and to apply an opi cuticle serum to them twice a day, until the discolouring/breaking has subsided and then to use opi strengthener. I have a very important event coming up in a few months and I'm now devastated with how my nails look. This salon doesn't care about your nail health, just making money & getting you in & out as quickly as possible. I had no idea there was anything wrong with my nails until yesterday, as they were long and painted. Please, please avoid this salon at all costs. They are cutting corners, to the detriment of their customers!
