Google I went here just for gel removal a month ago. They used the electric nail drill which I would assume was to remove initial layer then soak them in polish remover. However they entirely used the drill for removal. This has damaged my natural nails they are very weak, thin and snap. I now have a ridge where my nails have grown and you can see the regrowth is alot thicker than the area that was drilled. It's going to take months for me to get my healthy nails back.
