An extremely comfortable and welcoming salon that always greets its clients with warmth and professionalism. The hygiene standards are above expectations – all tools are cleaned and sterilized after each client, which gives a great sense of trust and comfort.
Georgiana is very friendly, talkative, understanding, and always up to date with the latest techniques and trends. In addition, tea, coffee, biscuits, or something sweet are always available for the clients, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable.
For me personally, my pedicure appointment is the moment of relaxation I look forward to from one month to the next.

I’m really disappointed with my experience.

I had a pedicure with Georgiana in summer 2024 and experienced a similar issue - the polish on one nail came off very quickly. I assumed it was just bad luck at the time, so I decided to give her another chance.

This time, I booked a spa pedicure with gel, which was listed as a 1-hour treatment and costing £50. In reality, the appointment lasted around 30 minutes - I had a 1pm slot and was already on my way home by 1:34pm (originally it was booked for 2:15 but on the day I have been asked to come earlier).

Unfortunately, the quality was again poor. The first nail lost its polish within two weeks, and two more came off by week three, with other nails starting to chip as well.

I initially tried to arrange an appointment with Georgiana to have the gel removed. However, communication was very slow. After a week of back and forward, I was offered an appointment a further three weeks later. When I asked if she could fit me in sooner for a quick 10–15 minute removal (just the remaining six nails), I received no response. As a result, I had to go to another nail technician to remove the gel.

The technician advised that this was likely due to poor base application or technique.

Overall, very disappointed experience due to low quality of service and poor communication.

UPDATE: It’s disappointing to read Georgiana’s response. As the salon owner, she has taken no responsibility and shown a poor attitude towards her customers.

To clarify, the main reason I chose to use her service again was simply because she is the closest to where I live and had weekend availability.

During my pregnancy, I’ve had gel pedicures twice elsewhere, as well as regular manicures, and none of them had a single chip. In contrast, the pedicure done by Georgiana started coming off very quickly.

The fact that the appointment lasted only 30 minutes instead of the 1 hour advertised without any explanation — also says a lot.

In terms of responsiveness, my last email was sent on 12th March asking for alternative appointment times, as the one suggested by her was not suitable. As of 24th March, I have still not received a response.

I will definitely not be returning and would not recommend her services, not only due to the poor quality of work but also the lack of accountability and unprofessional attitude towards customers.

I’ve been visiting Bloom Salon for almost a year now, I’m super impressed with every manicure and pedicure I’ve had with Georgiana. Georgiana is very welcoming, you feel at ease straight away. The salon is clean and hygienic, a very relaxing environment. She’s incredibly professional, the salon is inviting and relaxing and my nails look the best they’ve ever done, she has such good attention to detail.
